Clavering Hall
Clavering Hall is an impressive Georgian seven-bedroom detached country house set on the edge of the sought-after village of Clavering, near Saffron Walden. The property comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests. Set within a generous plot of around an acre, the house combines classic period charm with modern comforts including Wi-Fi, central heating, barbecue, and ample on-site parking.
The ground floor offers a wealth of flexible living space, ideal for larger groups. Accommodation includes a traditional kitchen/breakfast room with an oil-fired double oven AGA, a formal dining room, drawing room, and a comfortable living room. Additional rooms include a games room, cinema room and a utility room with a washing machine. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, and a full range of cookware and tableware.
All seven bedrooms are located on the first floor and are accessed via a beautiful, light-filled galleried landing. The rooms are well proportioned with high ceilings, retaining the character of this elegant period home. The first floor is served by two bathrooms, while the ground floor also benefits from one cloakroom for added convenience.
