The property is bursting with character, with gorgeous exposed stonework and period features throughout. The elegant lounge is a delightful place to unwind, with an array of comfortable seating set around a cosy wood burner and a Smart TV. A stylish kitchen provides everything needed for a self-catering break, and the separate dining area has a table to seat everyone. Also on the ground floor is a games room with a pool table, as well as a handy downstairs shower room. The three tastefully decorated bedrooms and the family bathroom are upstairs. Outside, a large, enclosed garden awaits with spectacular views across the North Devon countryside. The market town of Bideford (3 miles) has a great range of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as a pretty quayside and a beautiful public park with a seasonal, open-air swimming pool. The traffic-free Tarka Trail passes close to the town, offering fabulous walking and cycling routes alongside the river. For a day at the seaside, head to the vibrant coastal resort of Westward Ho!, where you’ll find a long, sandy beach, amusements and arcades, and traditional seaside shops and eateries.
