Wren Cottage is a beautifully renovated 18th-century retreat, lovingly restored to offer contemporary comfort while celebrating its heritage charm. Just 3 miles from the centre of Whitby, with the option of both buses and trains taking you into the town.. Ground Floor:

From the tiered garden that leads down to the waterâs edge, you can relax on the patio or lawned area and take in views of the heritage steam train chugging past in the summer months, travelling between Whitby and Pickering across the moors. The river itself is a favourite spot for paddleboarders and rowers, with boat, kayak, and SUP hire available in the neighbouring village, perfect for guests wanting to get out on the water.
Inside, the stone-flagged ground floor boasts a spacious, open-plan living area designed for both style and comfort. Concertina glass doors open directly into the enclosed garden, allowing you to blend indoor and outdoor living seamlessly on sunny days. The kitchen features beautiful wooden worktops, modern appliances, and a central dining table ideal for shared meals.
