Peacehaven est situé face à la mer, au cœur du charmant village de Sandsend, bénéficiant d'une vue panoramique depuis Sandsend Nab à Whitby Abbey.
Sandsend est situé à deux miles au nord de Whitby, North Yorkshire et possède une plage de sable fin de balayage. Le village dispose de deux pubs, plusieurs magasins de thé, d'excellents restaurants et un pub du village bien approvisionné.
Parfait pour les couples qui veulent une escapade romantique sur ce magnifique littoral pour de longues promenades sur la plage à Whitby, ou par le biais de Mulgrave Woods avant assis autour du feu à la Hart Inn ou dans les sièges de fenêtre confortables à Peacehaven avec un gin tonic regardant les vagues dans.

Winter break at Sandsend

A lovely property with all mod cons. It was real cozy winter haven. We could walk accross the road to the beach or just stay in and watch the tide go in and out. It was perfect.

Luxury apartment with views that are outstanding

Beautiful village location , the sea views are stunning , the attention for detail in very room is very luxurious the bedding is very high quality ,my partner struggles to sleep but at the apartment he could not believe how comfortable he slept . Beautiful beaches and the front balcony was ideal. Would recommend this property very much and will book again next year

Sea view location

The location was everything we enjoy about going to the sea. Able to watch the waves from the lovely front windows or sit outside on the balcony. A short walk to little shop, fish cottage grilled cod was delicious, 3 little cafes in walking distance and little pub with open fire also short walk. A great little compact apartment had all we needed for a little getaway

Couldn’t ask for better views

We loved staying here. The views are unbelievable & we absolutely LOVED watching the sun rise & set each day. We felt like it was a perfect distance from the hustle of Whitby & still had great access to the beach. While at the property, we spent most of our time relaxing in the comfy chairs while watching the sea. My husband especially enjoyed the nice touch of the binoculars. He enjoyed watching for animals and ships. Our only complaint was that for a smaller property such as this, there was a LOT of fragile stuff. We felt like we had to hold our bags super close to us & walk through carefully so to not knock anything over. Don’t get me wrong- it was all super classy & beautiful. But we would’ve felt more at home if there was less decor.

Coastal retreat

A once beautiful apartment is looking a little tired now but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless. The apartment was was well equipped and the prosecco on arrival was a nice touch. Information pack was useful, especially for walks and local eateries. There was a yard at the back of the property but it was covered in bird faeces, especially around the doorway so we couldn’t use it. Not quite the level of ‘luxury’ we were expecting but any negatives were more than compensated for by the location and views from the property which are just stunning.

Lovely location

Can’t beat the location of the accommodation, this is our second stay here. Only downside is the parking or lack of it, two out of the three nights we couldn’t get roadside parking near the accommodation so had to pay for two nights in the car park down the road and to be honest the Saturday night the car park was very busy and had to wait for a place!

Jewel in the crown!

The property exceeded expectation, with a beautiful interior. The location was perfect, with stunning sea views. The only issue was check in and upon arrival, we had still not been given a key code to enter the property with. Fortunately the neighbouring property had an alternative number for us to ring. VRBO need to address this issue.

You couldn’t get a better location, we sat in the window mesmerised by the stunning sea view.

Overall it was fabulous, just a few things that would have improved it. A tiny microwave would have been handy. If 1 dishwasher tablet and/ or a small amount of washing up liquid was provided. The back yard area could have done with a sweep up ,it was v windy so perhaps it had of been done but it didn’t look like. Previous guests mentioned the amount of stuff/ clutter/ornaments everywhere inc 2 clocks in our en suite which didn’t work & wasn’t needed. It looked v nice but there really was too much. Would def recommend & hope these few points aren’t offensive.

The Perfect place to stay.

From the moment we arrived we were relaxed. The easy key access allowed us entry to the property and the WOW factor, the 180 degree view through the panoramic window. The view out to sea and the bay is amazing. The decor and furnishings in Peacehaven are of shear luxury. There is everything one needs in the property and is ideally located in Sandsend.

Lovely views and location.

The property is ideally located with fantastic sea view. Unfortunately there isn't any parking unless you drop really lucky. The property has far to many things in it. You can't walk anywhere without knocking something off the wall or window sill. We had to move a lot of the clutter to allow us to breath! There was a gigantic ship on the window sill in the lounge that without moving would spoil the beautiful views. Unfortunately the main bedroom has staircase from the flat above in the corner of the room so that's very loud. Overall it was a lovely property but far tp much clutter for a small place.
