Great house for larger families

We had a fantastic stay at Sunnybank over the August bank holiday. The house was clean and spacious for 9 people (2 families). All the bedrooms were roomy and beds/pillows very comfortable. There were plenty of bathrooms for everyone’s use and the gym was a nice addition for those fitness fanatics in our group. We had a small issue after we arrived which was dealt with promptly and didn’t affect our stay. The house is well situated a short walk from the town and close to a cycle path. The house was perfect for what we needed and we’d definitely consider staying again.

A Sunny Stay at Sunnycroft

A great house with lots of space. Loved the addition of the gym. Good sized rooms, well decorated and well thought out accommodation. Couple of little jobs needed doing but nothing that needed attention whilst we were there. They were more cosmetic and we shared these with the company. Ample parking and lovely garden area. Close to town and local walks so well positioned. Is on a bend so caution needed when driving out. Would definitely recommend to families and groups. It ticks all the boxes and we would certainly book again. Thank you Keswick cottages for a great stay.

Lovely Period Property

We really enjoyed our stay in Keswick . Sunnycroft is an ideal holiday let for larger groups and families. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with a nice garden at the rear of the property to sit out in on summer evenings. Note the house is situated on a busy road junction and there is a significant amount of traffic noise at the front of the property especially when the windows are open. While there is plenty of parking at the side of the house , exiting the driveway can be a challenge during busy periods. There is no provision for outdoor cooking so adding a BBQ would be a nice addition.

A pleasant cottage in Keswick - ideal for a base for hiking

I stayed here for a week in August with my children and grandchildren. The cottage is a short (but pleasant) walk from the centre of Keswick. The accommodation was as described in the advertising with decent-sized bedrooms and kitchen, a dining room with a table comfortably large enough to accommodate us all. Parking for two cars was available at the front/side. There was even a gym at the back and a small rear garden. Wi-fi and washing machine worked. We were very happy. The only downside was that we sometimes ran out of hot water after just one person had had a shower - which is a problem when there are six adults and five children. We learnt that there was a booster switch which fixed this but it took 24 hours to discover that.
