Cherry Garth is a warm and welcoming home sleeping up to eight people in four bedrooms.

This stylish home at the heart of Keswick is the perfect place for families or walking groups to come together for an unforgettable stay in the Lake District. The property offers light and airy accommodation with quality fittings and contemporary finishes throughout following recent refurbishment, from under floor heating on the ground floor, to the spacious triple aspect lounge/dining room with walk in bay and double patio doors.

The well equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, electric hob and granite worktops , is sure to make food preparation and dining a pleasure. The spacious open plan living room/ dining space with Smart TV is the perfect place to gather together and catch up on the day's events.

There are two beautiful ground floor bedrooms, both with quality mattresses and beds dressed in luxury linen and towels, and each conveniently having modern ensuite shower rooms.

Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom which ca be made up as super king-size on request (£15 charge for this service). Between the two bedrooms is the newly refurbished three piece bathroom for those who prefer a nice soak to relax and refresh tired muscles!

The useful utility room has washing facilities along with space to store coats, boots and walking gear.

The private enclosed garden with seating enjoys a south faced position catching the sun all day. A lovely place to relax with a drink or good book after a day on the fells!

Perfect for our family get together

Well located only minutes away from the town centre. Cherry Garth was very, very comfortable, plenty of space for 5 adults and well stocked. Parking was a little tricky for our SUV, we overhung onto the footpath but there was on-road parking available. Fitz Park located just across the main road was very handy for the dogs.

Great location

Great stay for a family of 8, the only gripe was the main sofa was difficult for the older members of our party to get in and out of. All the other facilities were top class.

Family holiday

First stay at Cherry garth and we were not disappointed. Clean, comfortable, ideal for a family of 8and a great location. Booked through Keswick cottages who are great to deal with. Hope to book cottage again.

Pre Easter break

Really brilliant place to stay with excellent facilities both in and out doors in a quiet location. Parking tight but easy once you get the hang of it.

A lovely, spacious property in a central location .

The property is large and easily sleeps 6 adults and 2 children. It’s centrally located and it’s very easy to park on the drive and in the street; which is a bonus in Keswick. The garden area is fully enclosed and has a lovely patio table and chairs. It is well equipped and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Spacious and well equipped

Cherry Garth provided excellent accommodation for 5 persons and our dog. The living area was spacious and bedrooms well equipped and furnished, with en-suite and bathroom facilities really good. The garden provided a great relaxing space.

A lovely home from home

We have just returned from a lovely break in Keswick. Cherry Garth was ideally situated as it was close to Fitz park which was ideal for walking our dog. It was also really handy for accessing the town too. The house was spacious and very comfortable and the enclosed garden was perfect for dog.

Again another good stay.

We booked this again as it's very convenient for town and parks. The cottage is ideal having two ensuits and a family bathroom, a nice south facing garden with furniture. Seating in lounge could be improved, sofers are good but little chairs uncomfortable for family of eight. Would recommend booking through Keswick Cottages as they are so good at what they do.

Perfect property in the perfect location

Excellent service and customer support from Keswick Cottages. The property was spotless; excellent facilities and completely safe for our four legged companions. Also the bonus of off road parking outside the property which is 2mins from Fitz park and 5mins from the town centre. We would definitely rebook this property with Keswick Cottages.

Loved the lay out of property . Perfect for our family , . Close to all amenities and a fabulous walk by the River and lakes . In town lovely shops and Restaurants varying prices. Any amount of outdoor Shops , bought myself a walking jacket . Very dog friendly all over the town of Keswick. On the whole really enjoyed our stay . The property provided everything needed for a relaxing weeks holiday. Thanks The Owers Family

Comfortable/Enjoyable Overall

Overall we had a very comfortable stay at Cherry Garth in terms of space, cleanliness and its appropriateness for our family reunion. It was cosy and it was straightforward to regulate tbe temperature when necessary. When we had a couple of issues at the beginning of our stay we were impressed with how promptly they were dealt with.Location was also ideal. I look forward to returning with my friends in December.

Family break - part of a 30th and 60th birthday celebration

Keswick has a lot to offer. Cherry Garth is right in there. The accomodation is clean, warm, very spacious and very well equiped. Our first break in a very long time which we thoroughly enjoyed. We felt at home. Thanks Keswick Cottages for making the whole process of booking. checking in and out an easy no fuss experience. Would love to repeat this short holiday.

Week end in Keswick

Shower upstairs had very poor pressure . Settees in the lounge not very comfortable !! Although out most of the time !! Excellent house good position lots of room very clean .very enjoyable time in Keswick thankyou .

Very comfortable

We booked Cherry Garth because of the amount of bedrooms and that some were downstairs. We all had a great week as we have been holidaying in Keswick for many years and found the place very clean apart from the cushions on the chairs at the window as they were covered in dog hair. The tumbler dryer didn't work very well as it kept stopping after about a minute. The only other issue we had was that there was never any hot water when we needed it as the boiler pressure kept falling low and we were having to reset every time we needed hot water. Despite the few issues we would stay here again.

A really lovely place to stay in Keswick

We were really pleased with our stay at Cherry Garth. A very modern, clean and comfortable property with secure outdoor space for our small dog. Very near to Fitz Park which is a bonus if you have a dog or children. Issues with parking, but that is only because of inconsiderate bad parking by others. On street parking was at a premium and some people consistently parked over the white lines making manoeuvring in and out of the cottage space very tricky. We had an issue with heating but staff at Keswick Cottages dealt with it quickly, even visiting personally to see if they could sort it for us. Useful utility room (finally found the freezer in there). A really good experience dealing with Keswick Cottages. We liked the smaller, friendly company giving good customer service and would highly recommend booking through them. Small thing to mention if being picky would be crockery provided. I honestly have never seen such small bowls. It was a struggle to fit in weetabix. No larger bowls for pasta or soup. We had soup out of a Pyrex jug! All in all a great place to stay, very near the park and town centre.

Birthday celebration

We had a great stay at Cherry Garth, the location was perfect unfortunately the weather was typical February rain, snow and wind. But still managed some good walks as had appropriate clothing with us. The property is a great for a good mix of people and very dog friendly. The only down comment we had was that the sofas were very uncomfortable and have seen better days. Also getting the property information electronically is good in some ways, but not helpful if the person receiving the link is out for the day and other people have an issue. Also there are no instructions for anything, i.e. oven, microwave, how to adjust bathroom towel rails downstairs. This information would have been handy.

Comfortable, home from home

Keswick cottage never disappoint with their standard of accommodation on their books and once more this fabulous home met all our expectations. Comfortable and yet spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults and dogs with us all being in each others space. The kitchen was well equipped to cook for us all and serve up a lovely meal at the large dining table. I’m sure anyone who stays here will be more than delighted.

Another lovely property

Cherry Garth is a lovely property. Spacious rooms, tastefully decorated. Great property for my grown up family to share, with two en-suite rooms as well as family bathroom. Good utility room & garden ideal for dog owners, which was a bonus as a lot of properties we have previously been to have none or limited area to let them out. Similarly good to to have a parking spaces, one dedicated space, also parked across our own driveway to create another, as roads in that area are very busy. Great location for walking in to town. Pity we didn’t have the best weather this time but still got out walking every day and it was nice to come back to dry off and chill out in such a lovely property.

Christmas at Cherry Garth

Excellent accommodation only a few minutes walk to the park and central Keswick with parking and fantastic enclosed garden. All rooms are furnished to a very high standard with a beautiful fitted kitchen and very useful utility room that was perfect for our four legged friends to sleep and relax in ( the underfloor heating was wonderful). This was our first Christmas away from home and I only wished we had booked and stayed till New Year. We will definitely book again, thank you Keswick Cottages.
