La vie au bord du lac à son meilleur! Belle maison située juste au bord de l'eau sur Great East Lake. Vues à couper le souffle de l'enveloppement autour du pont ou de la plage de sable. Quai privé et amarrage. Couchers de soleil magnifiques. Terrain surdimensionné avec une grande pelouse verte. Récemment rénové, cuisine entièrement équipée. Salle de bain récemment rénovée. La propriété dispose d'un quai privé pour accueillir un bateau jusqu'à 24 '. La rampe de mise à l'eau publique est à seulement 800 mètres et il y a de la place pour garer votre remorque à l'arrière de la cour. Calme sur le magnifique Great East Lake. C'est une option parfaite pour une petite famille ou deux couples.

Hard to come up with the words to describe the beauty this property has to offer. Great east lake has excellent water quality, clear enough to see the bottom. The house is adorable and cozy with everything you need. Audrey is very easy to communicate with. I would recommend this house to anyone who needs to experience the peace the lake has to offer. Best vacation house i have ever rented.

Boathouse

The boathouse was just what we needed and as we expected. The attention to details stands out. All the little extras make this just like home. It was a perfect location and exceptionally clean. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay again, thank you!

A slice of heaven

This is our second time staying at this beautiful spot on Great East lake. We're looking forward to returning next year. Audrey was lovely to work with, and her home is welcoming and warm. If you can get book some time there, I highly recommend this property (Just don't try to take ours, lol!).

wonderful sunsets

had a great time here. wish the neighbors dog would not come over and bark at use and poop on the grass! the views were great . did not like all the stairs in house!

Was all that I had hoped for in a rental

Located on a perfect spot on the lake. Clear water. Plenty of room to dock my 21 foot boat. Clean and included just about everything you’d need to prepare great meals. Friendly neighbors. A huge yard considering lakefront properties are usually on a postage stamp sized lot. All in all, our vacation was perfect.

Perfect lakefront relaxation

Super clean and roomy. Stocked with everything you might need to make your week a pleasant one. The views are incredible and the lake is pristine and crystal clear. Lots of privacy. We enjoyed using the canoe . The deck on the water was great for viewing sunsets. The only reason for 4 stars for accuracy of online listing is: it wasn’t clear that the house has four levels. So, lots of stairs for anyone with mobility issues. All in all, a wonderful rental experience and we are grateful to the owners for sharing their little piece of paradise.

Boat House Cottage

The Boat House Cottage is wonderful! Pictures don't do it justice. The Boat House is immaculate, and it is decorated so beautifully. The house is fully stocked with all paper goods and toiletries which was helpful. The sunsets from the dock was one of our favorite things to do. We rented a boat and had a place to dock it right there. The public boat ramp is about 5 minutes away The water is crystal clear, and the cottage has walk in sandy beach which is a plus. The location of the Cottage is so quiet, and it is close to town for groceries and a few restaurants. The amenities this Cottage offers is incredible from floats, lawn chairs and umbrellas to a fully stocked kitchen with every imaginable cooking item. Audrey was great to work with and was always available when we had a question. This is one of the best rentals we have done and hope to return again next year!

Overall disappointing vacation rental in many ways. Briefly, property description ("breathtaking views", "quiet setting") was misleading, if not false in my opinion. Some listed property amenities did not exist (hot tub, spa, wood stove). The outdoor deck awning had deteriorated and was ripped, rendering it unusable. The standing umbrella was on its last legs to begin with. We were charged for a new umbrella from our security deposit & the Wayfair receipt sent to us! Owner's phone # belongs to an Asian realty co in NY. We have had great success with VRBO rentals for many years! This rental has been a huge disappointment.

I'm sorry you're an obvious malcontent and had a disappointing vacation. I must compliment you on your writing abilities, are you a published writer of fiction? The views are breathtaking, and it is a very quiet setting. No where in the property description is a hot tub, spa or wood stove listed. Both the umbrella and the awning were obviously left up in the wind the night you locked yourself out of the house, (as witnessed by the neighbor) against specific instructions and were damaged beyond use. I did deduct $86 to replace the umbrella for the next guest. I did not charge anything for the ruined awning. The cell phone # I give to guests, is my NY cellphone number and I am most certainly NOT an Asian realty co., pure fiction. Overall, this guest was the huge disappointment, and I would never rent to her again.

A Wonderful New England Fall Retreat

Overall, this was a fabulous chance to try out the Lake House Life. This place was picture postcard perfect, with a wide shoreline yard on Great East Lake and a deck and breakwater just feet above the water. Our host agreed to an early arrival for us on Friday, which allowed my wife and I a chance to relax and get out on the calm waters of the lake in the canoe before our son arrived. The wind picked up on Saturday, so we mostly played games and relaxed inside, and went out for dinner at the Poor People's Pub in Sanbornville. The cabin was clean and fresh, with modern amenities. We had a great time and would stay there again!

Absolutely beautiful!

This property is absolutely stunning! The views from every window are wonderful. The boathouse was very clean and had everything we needed for a very relaxing stay. Audrey was available for questions and left great details on how everything works-. We hope to return and stay longer.

Relaxing in beautiful nature

We love this property so much, this is the second time staying there. The lake is so clean and not busy with tons of boat traffic. We are forced to slow down, relax, and enjoy nature and each other. Spectacular sunsets, board games in the wonderful dining room, and fishing off the dock and in kayaks. The loons are plentiful, and we were able to spy a few pretty rare species for this area.

Quaint Boathouse

The Boathouse worked out perfectly for my husband, daughter and 15 yr old granddaughter. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, flannel sheets on the king bed and electric blankets on the twin beds! Perfect for those chilly nights. Dining area is great spot for having coffee overlooking the lake. Such a cute and cozy place to spend a getaway week. Very quiet and lovely setting. We hope to return next year! Owner was very responsive with questions. Great rental! Thank you!

Comfortable and Quiet

Had a relaxing and quiet stay at this clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage on a picturesque part of the lake. The fishing was good and the kayaking fantastic. The weather was extremely cooperative for this late in the season and remained unusually mild. The rental process was seamless with no concerns or issues at all about the property. My stay here was a perfect way to end the season.

The Boathouse - A Waterfront Haven

My husband and I had a wonderfully peaceful stay at the Boathouse. The location of this cottage is outstanding- it is right on the lake with an overhanging deck onto crystal clear water! The home is located at the end of a long unpaved driveway. We arrived late at night and had some difficulty finding the home as there is no street lighting. Audrey was immediately available by phone to help guide us. While neighbors' homes can be seen from the wraparound deck, they are far enough that the home feels very private but not isolated. The home is as described in the listing. It has rustic cottage charm with some updates for comfort. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, dishes, appliances, and even condiments. The Wifi speed was reasonable for two devices although my husband had some difficulty uploading videos. There are enough beds to accommodate a family of 4 but the small single bathroom for the entire home could pose a challenge. The multiple levels as pointed out by other reviewers adds to the charm of the home. We had a memorable stay and highly recommend this quintessential New England waterfront cottage..

Literally the BEST vacation of my life!

It's killing me to write this review, because I want to keep this place a secret!! My husband, our older teen and I, stayed for a glorious two weeks! The home was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The crystal clear water, and the quiet cove made the experience magical. The neighbors were lovely, and Audrey was a pleasure to work with. I will be saying extra prayers that we get to return! You will not be disappointed in this cozy multilevel home.

Weather was not great, but that didn’t stop us from having a wonderful time. Amazing spot right on this crystal clear lake. Dining room table was perfect for family games while looking out across beautiful Great East Lake. Highly recommend!

Peaceful vacation

Every year, we rent a different place on a different body of water. We think we found our favorite! Clean, quiet, and restful. Gorgeous sunsets from the dock and all of the windows. The lake is quiet and so so clean. Our son spent hours just throwing a ball with his friend in the shallow water. We kayaked, read, and swam all week. It was perfection.

Enjoyable stay.

The boat house was beautiful and being literally, right on the water, was incredible! Sunsets, such awesome colors every night. Was unusually hot at the beginning of the week, so air conditioning would have been great, but the stay was still peaceful and wonderful. Twin bed mattresses could use an upgrade, but room was fantastic with the window and sounds of the water lapping. Great place that I'd highly recommend.
