Welcome to Hawkes Way, a delightful ground floor apartment ideally situated in the heart of Totnes. Just a stoneâs throw from the bustling high street, with its independent shops, bars, restaurants and local amenities, this stylish retreat is perfectly placed for guests looking for convenient and comfortable holiday accommodation in Totnes.
Here at Your Devon Escape we are local and will be able to assist and advise where required.
Totnes is the commercial centre for the South Hams. The town offers many attractions perfect for all ages. Check out the Totnes Museum to understand the local history, the Rare Breeds Farm to learn about different animals, or hop on the South Devon Steam Railway to enjoy the Devon countryside.
This part of Devon is renowned for its outstanding natural beauty with Dartmoor National Park ten miles to the north and stunning beaches and coastline ten miles to the south. Nearby beaches include Paignton, Torquay and Blackpool Sands, with the very nice towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe only a twenty or thirty minute drive away.
The bustling medieval market town has a mainline railway station giving direct connections to London Paddington with easy connection to St Pancras for the Eurostar. Totnes is just a three-hour train from London, and Hawkes Way is located a fifteen minute walk from the platform to the front door. There is also excellent access to the A38 Devon Expressway, linking Plymouth and Exeter where it joins the M5. Hawkes Way provides the perfect retreat whether you want to arrive by car or train.
Step inside to a light and spacious hallway that leads through to the open plan living area. The lounge features a large L-shaped sofa, which can be converted into an additional bed on request, a Smart TV, and a selection of board games for relaxed evenings in. The dining area seats four guests, while the modern, well-equipped kitchen includes an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave, providing everything you need for a home cooked meal.
The courtyard-facing bedroom is a calm and inviting space, furnished with a king-sized bed, bedside cabinets, a chest of drawers and ample wardrobe storage. Next to the bedroom, the generous bathroom offers a large shower and all modern comforts.
Outside, a communal area is complete with table, chairs and a bench, creating a pleasant spot for morning coffee or a quiet glass of wine in the evening.
Thoughtfully curated for your comfort and convenience, Hawkes Way is ideal for couples, solo travellers or small families. With everything you need for a home from home experience, this welcoming apartment is the perfect base for exploring Totnes and the beautiful South Devon countryside beyond.
The local taxi rank is just around the corner, the train station is a fifteen minute walk away and there are numerous local bus stops and routes on the door step.

You can pull up on the road outside to unload but car parking is via a main car park thatâs PaybyPhone App operated just 100 yards from the door and long term parking at Steamer Quay, just a ten minute walk away.
