This wonderful accommodation was extremely clean. It felt cosy and comfortable - a homey atmosphere. It was well equipped to make our stay easier. Sharon was extremely patient and went out of her way to answer any questions. Thank you so much!!!
Didnât see any Magpies but saw loads of nice local pieces of art and nautical stuff, and that was just the apartment. Dartmouth and surrounding is always nice. Great location and very cosy. Thank you
We had a lovely stay at Sharon's flat. She sent us lots of information before hand. Even though we got out check in date wrong (we arrived early!) She accommodated us and her lovely cleaning lady came round straight away to get the place ready for us. Sharon was such a nice person to deal with.
It's a central flat, Spar store next door, few pubs, shops and cafes right on the doorstep. Easy to find. We were lucky to secure one of the 3 parking spots outside on the second day but easy to us the park and ride service.
Went with our 5 and 6mth year old boys. Cot bed was there for us to use which was a great help. Highly recommend staying here.
We had a lovely few days in Sharonâs apartment, everything was as described and great location! Sharon was great, she responded really quickly to messages and even agreed to let us come a day early due to train cancellations! Thank you for letting us stay and helping us to make some great memories.
Communication with the owner was very good. Location of property is great, just a 2 minute walk from the river. Property was perfect for our needs, clean and well maintained, decent size for 2 adults, well equipped, comfortable bed and great shower. Couldnât fault the property but oh those seagulls, but then if you stay that close to the river you have to accept that. Would definitely stay here again
Very Reasonably Priced Accommodation In An Otherwise Expensive Town !
An excellent base from which to explore all Dartmouth & the surrounding area have to offer.
Clean, comfortable & well equipped, with some clever touches (motorised skylight & rope-pull sail skylight curtain).
If you like soft mattresses, then you'll find the bed very comfortable... but if like me, you prefer a firm mattress, then you won't !
I used to love the sound of seagulls, but the early morning monkey-like screeching of the nearby gulls (on the roof?) can be quite irritating & sleep disturbing... we got used to it though, as we have something similar where we live, but geese instead of gulls !
We were fortunate with the free parking space right outside the accommodation & managed to park there all week.
Check with the host if you have queries or are unsure of listed/pictured amenities as some of the things on the Vrbo listing are either different or not there at all.
Just hone from a short break in Dartmouth and Sharonâs lovely property .
It was our first visit to the area and we had a wonderful time apart from the weather and torrential rain putting a slight dampener on things . That said - it was lovely to lie in bed and listen to the rain on the window above the bed .
The property had everything we needed and was so cosy , especially in the evenings with the little fairy lights and fire turned.on.
The location was fantastic - so close to the centre and everything on the doorstep with no steep hills to climb to get home in the evening .
There was so much to do in the area that 4 days just wasnât enough , so hopefully we will revisit Dartmouth and Sharonâs flat again .
It was lovely to not have to drive anywhere and either take a boat/ ferry or walk due to the location being so central .
Sharon made the whole booking process so smooth and offered lots of useful information .
Very highly recommended!
Lovely central location with everything we needed. Slept very well except the seagulls that can't be helped đ I'd recommend this location to other friends & family. Excellent communication from the owner too. Thank you!
Perfect location for shops and restaurants and the apartment is well equipped. The owner was flexible with dates and realistic about parking which can be resolved by making use of the riverside parking overnight from 4pm until 11am.
This small, perfectly formed flat is in a perfect spot in Dartmouth, for those of us who have previously booked in upper or higher town - no more strenuous climbs up and down to the town and accommodation.
We stayed at Sharonâs apartment and really enjoyed our stay, the location couldnât be any better, so central, so easy to pop in and out during the day. Sharon is a super host and made us feel very welcome.
Really impressed with this little flat. Its in a prime spot in the town centre, so good we didn't even move our car for our stay.
pop outside to get something from the local butchers, or just a cheeky cake from the many bakeries on offer. Both days we did large walks, one day coastline, second day along the dart to Dittisham. Recommend this property, some quirky home improvements inside the flat made it great. Like the sail style curtain above the bed to cover the window.
Fabulous location, and everything well thought through in the flat. We had everything we needed.
We really enjoyed our stay and would like to return. There is a well stocked kitchen, everything you need to cook with, and the WiFi was great enabling my partner to work whilst away.
Very convenient location to the centre of town, yet very quiet. Clean and well equipped, making the most of the available space. Very cosy and relaxing.
Would definitely recommend and use again.
What a great stay. This property is clean well equipped and close to everything. The first day unfortunately the three parking spaces outside the property were taken but on driving round for a bit found a temporary parking space on the car park where the market is held just around the corner 5 minute walk and one of the market traders we got chatting to said we could leave it there for the duration of our stay bonus. On the second day we were able to park outside the property. Nothing is to much trouble for the owner of this property. 100% will be returning to this little haven in lovely Dartmouth.
We live in England, Buckinghamshire, which is just about as far away from the coast as we could possible be! We have two grown up children, who are now living in London. Sharon`s family come from Dartmouth, it has always been a very treasured destination with loads of family memories. Anyone, who has ever visited with us, have fallen in love with it too!
We bought the flat because Sharon`s family come from Dartmouth and we love the beautiful South Hams area. Our flat is in the heart of Dartmouth, and has such easy access to everything but still with a lovely relaxed, holiday feel. It is opposite the beautiful Market Square and 2 minutes walk to the gorgeous river front and a further 10 minutes to the beaches.
In the centre of the town. Only a few stairs from road into the flat. Very unusual in Dartmouth, most holiday homes are a steep climb away! So easy to pop back to, forget the car and catch boats, buses or walk for a stress free holiday! Fantastic restaurants on your doorstep. The Seahorse owned by Mitch Tonks, fantastic fish cuisine and The Angel, with a new chef, Elly Wentworth, new and exciting cuisine .... a must if you are a real foodie!
