Salty Breeze is just 160m from the golden sands of Preston Beach, Paignton

Located just 160 metres from Preston Sands beach, Salty Breeze is a homely, one-level property with its own front door. Centred in the beautiful English Rivera, between the pretty fishing port of Brixham and the historic birth place of Agatha Christie Torquay, you can enjoy fine dining, a classic fish and chip supper, or even have one of Devon’s famous cream teas. Filled with fun days out, we are a stone throw from the renowned Paignton Zoo, the National Park of Dartmoor, and the thatched village of Cockington; you can even catch the steam train to the Naval port of Dartmouth on the River Dart. Come and soak-up the English Rivera sunshine with us.
With 22 miles of coastline and 20 beaches on offer there's something for everyone!

Salty Breeze can sleep up to 4 people (2 adults, 2 children). The sofa bed pulls out to a double. I can also accommodate an additional child if it is an infant in a cot (supplied).
It offers a family bathroom with large enclosed walk in shower.

There is a kitchen and sitting room with a social dining area. Sky TV and Netflix plus Xbox S series with a selection of games and DVDs. Outside there is a small area with a bench where you can enjoy your morning coffee whilst you watch the world go by. There is no onsite parking but there is free on street parking available close by. Just 8 minute by taxi or 20 minute walk from Paignton train and bus station.

There are shops and eateries all within easy walking distance.

I am happy for up to 3 dogs to stay, any additional dogs please enquire. Dogs are not allowed to to be left alone in the apartment at any time.

We stayed with Marie with two adults and two dogs. The cottage was as described and in a really good location. Parking was never a problem in October either. We didn't particularly like Paington itself, but it was a great place for lots of activities. The cottage is small but very nice, we had everything we needed and communication with Marie worked very well. We were welcomed with scones, cream, and marmalade. Everything was very lovingly and meticulously equipped and absolutely clean. We had a wonderful week. Highly recommended.

Well equipped, cosy stay

Fabulously well equipped property with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a literal stones throw from the beach and a chip shop!!! The host was flexible and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Excellent Property

Salty Breeze is impressive, everything you would want, a lovely touch of Milk, Orange, Scones, Jam, Strawberries etc welcomes you when you arrive, parking is easy with spaces opposite for free, A simple 3 minute walk to the beach, all you need within walking distance, we visit Paignton 3 /4 times a year & have stayed at many properties but Salty Breeze will be our aim when we visit again in September, Marie, the host/owner is delightful & will accommodate where ever she can, Thanks Marie for a wonderful stay

Prefection!

Marie was quick to reply, and made everything easy! It was so clean too. She decorated the place so beautifully for Christmas, and put measures in place to make my little dog feel so welcome too. I would 100% stay here again, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Salty Breeze

This property is a beautifully clean, comfortable, well equipped home from home. It is ideally located with only a five minute walk to Preston beach and a wide range of shops, cafes, restaurants and take aways. The owner is very amenable and kept in constant touch to make sure everything was ok. Would highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

We 100% recommend this place for a couple young family with or without a dog. We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. The location is brilliant. Nice Thai up the road 5 star. Accommodation was very clean looked brand new it has everything you would need even extras like a washing machine. Marie even provides a small amount of washing gel and comfort. Marie had throught of everything. Was a lovely place to stay. Maries on the end of the phone if you need her. We enjoyed the round robin day trip. The pubs on the front have climbing franes and

Nice apartment in Paington.

Very good, clean and modern apartment. We were four persons and it worked very well. Close to the beach but a bit off from the city center of Paignton and Torquay.
