Perfect Accomodation
Really lovely apartment, well furnished and very comfortable beds. Kitchen fully equipped, a little home from home. Customer support was excellent. Location was perfect, a short walk to the Minster. We would highly recommend and stay again if ever back in York.

A nice apartment really close to all York offers. Apartment had everything we needed for a few days away with our teenager and was really comfortable and well set out. The parking was great. Would recommend Stays York as booking was simple and updates on booking and day of check in were great. We thought the apartment was good value for money and nice to have our own space.

Super apartment.
Nice apartment, close to the city. A quiet and safe location. I would be happy to stay there again. My daughter and I came for a midweek stay, it had everything we needed .

First class apartment
Our first stay in York for 20 years. Apartment location was excellent with easy access to all the city sights . The apartment was 100% with everything you need, vèry clean and well presented. Would stay again and recommend to other York visitors.

Well, appointed city Centre apartment with secure parking
We had a lovely time during our five-night winter stay! The flat was warm, cosy and had everything we needed. If we had to say something, a blind on the side of the master bedroom window would be a nice touch, as the room is overlooked by the flats next door. Also, the double bed in the master bedroom could do with being a king size.

Monkgate Cloisters December 2025
We were in York for a couple of days for an event, and wanted somewhere close to the city centre with parking. This property is only a few minutes walk to Monkgate, so handy for everything. Parking was secure and the apartment was really quiet and peaceful, as it doesn’t overlook the road. It had everything we needed and was pretty spacious for the two of us. We really liked it.

Excellent location
Good choice, and as described. It was only a few minutes from restaurants and pubs, and it took us about 10 minutes to the Minster (being slow walkers!)
Everything in good condition, and bed was comfy. Very quiet location. It was a bonus having secure parking.
The shower was good, but quite snug, but we managed ok.

A perfect stay for Easter!
My husband and I stayed in York with our 1 year old for 3 nights. We arrived and had no issues finding and getting into the apartment. The location is perfect! An easy 2 min walk to the city centre, 5 min walk to York Minster, and with the added benefit of having gated and allocated parking. The apartment was clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed for the long weekend, including a travel cot for our son. We loved our stay at Monkgate cloisters and would happily stay again! Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a fabulous stay at Monkgate Cloisters! The flat is super clean with all the conveniences of home..dishwasher, hob, oven ,laundry machine, microwave. Beautiful dishes, and glassware, all the pots you would need to have an evening or two in. The flat looks exactly as depicted on line, very spacious bedroom, kitchen living and dining area as well. The location is fabulous, a two minute walk to the wall, about 7 minutes to the Shambles. So many restaurants, pubs, and shops in the area. Having secure parking included was a definite plus to us. I could view the Minster from the kitchen window,!! Would I come back again...in a heart beat! One of the most beautiful accommodations we have stayed at. Thank you for making our trip a beautiful memory to cherish.
