A very spacious, well presented two bedroom, two bathroom apartment that is fantastically positioned close to both York Station and the beautiful city centre. The apartment has a high standard of both decoration and furnishings throughout. The property has a double bedroom with ensuite shower room, a further double bedroom and a family bathroom with a bath and integral shower. With the addition of an open plan, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area this well positioned apartment has everything that you could want in the city of York, including free WiFi and also the addition of a designated secure parking space. Should you need it the apartment also offers a further small bedroom with bunk beds, suitable only for children.

Great apartment, great location

Great location, 5 mins from the train station, right next to the river and across the bridge from the centre. Comfy sofas, comfy beds, everything we needed in the kitchen, very quiet apartment block. Staff at Stays York helpful and friendly as always.

Lovely apartment, clean, well appointed, had most of what we needed. Very easy walk into town. Quiet apartment block and heard no outside noise. Helpful concierge in the flats too. Two minor points, WiFi was terrible, gave up and used mobile in the end. And the double bed in the 2nd bedroom was really squeaky.

spacious modern flat in city Centre of York

ideal location - close to bus stop and railway station for day trips to seaside, Leeds, Harrogate as well as leisurely stroll along river ouse or exploring York city centre. Two Bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as fully equipped kitchen make a comfortable home. Friendly staff and a helpful welcome pack with original Yorkshire products as well as plenty of information leaflets about tourist attractions in the region make your visit easy going.

Lovely Stay

This apartment is lovely and central and is very close to the city centre. We all loved the apartment. The only problem we had were the bed covers were full of hairs. Pet hairs and also human hairs. Not just in our bed but also the other bed. We only found this when we got into bed so was too late to do anything about it. The following morning I contacted the emergency number and after sending through some pictures the beds were changed. I don’t know what went wrong as the rest of the apartment was spotless. We would stay there again though.

A nice welcome to York.

Nice apartment, comfortable, clean and tidy. Very convenient to walk into the centre of York or have a walk along the river Ouse weather permitting. The apartment was well equipped with everything and the welcome pack of tea, coffee etc. was appreciated. As we arrived on a Sunday we were greeted by Brian and his wife who were both very helpful which was much welcome after a long and tiring journey. All in all a very enjoyable holiday.

Extremely clean and comfortable property. Well located easy access into the city. Near everything yet quiet. Picking up keys from office in the city very difficult re parking as we had a car with us. Keysafe would have been better. Also wrong flat number on key fob created confusion

The flat was in an ideal location; five minutes from the Railway station, two minutes down to the river and ten minutes walk to the main sites. The complex itself is very quiet and the flat is lovely. However, a problem occurred with a water leak during our stay; communication with the letting agent was disappointing. We were moved to another location eventually and then back again after a day, given very short notice. The staff individually were pleasant, but there were too many different individuals dealing with the problem.

Best Possible location; I appreciated gated parking and presence of concierge. Very well presented.

This was the perfect location for my needs. Park the car in the secure gated parking and forget about it for the duration of the stay. Just a 10 minute walk to the Minster or to the railway station or National Railway Museum made this the ideal location for our needs. Walks/runs along the Ouse gave great views of the city. The staff at Stays York were very friendly and helpful when I asked to extend my stay by a further day. The presence of a concierge in the apartment block was also very helpful. Apartment was very well appointed.

Our low marks are mainly due to the parking situation, which made things a bit frustrating. The fob we were initially given didn’t work, leaving us to pay for overnight parking. Then the gate to the parking lot itself didn’t work, leaving us stuck in a fenced-in parking lot for over an hour. Other than that, the Flat itself was lovely, and the location was very convenient.

Well situated property. Clean and well equipped. We were ok but would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems. I know York quite well so was able to quickly park and collect keys from the office. Told car park key fob would be in apartment, it wasn’t. Held car in restricted area until someone brought us the key fob. This didn’t work and Chris came within 10 minutes with replacement. Eventually entered car park and got installed in apartment. All phone calls to the office were handled efficiently. Enjoyed the stay after the first hour!Check the fobs!!

A lovely mini break with a great location

We stayed as a family of 3 at this apartment and chose it due to the location advertised. It was very easy to find with the added bonus of secure parking. The building itself was modern and luxurious both inside and out. The apartment was lovely and easily accessible via the lift. It was clean, bright a spacious plus having two bathrooms allowed for privacy for our soon to be teenage daughter who likes her own space. It was a gentle 15 minute walk into the centre of York but not too tasking. We drove up for ease but the train station is so close that you don't actually need to take a car. The view out of the lounge window offered views of the river but be mindful that it's also next to the Royal Mail sorting office and you look right over the van parking. With this, you also hear the vans from 5.30am so if you're a light sleeper, the master bedroom isn't the best room for you. Also, the car park is around the back of the building so you have to carry your luggage to the main entrance as there is no space to drop off anything. So a couple of trips to the car could be in order. We found the apartment great value for money and would stay here again.
