Élégamment présenté et complètement nouvellement meublé tout au long de cette belle appartement d'une chambre fait un excellent choix pour tout séjour dans la ville.

L'emplacement fantastique rend idéal pour les clients à York pour affaires ou pour les loisirs. Si vous voulez juste une base centrale de marcher au bureau ou à un endroit idéal pour se détendre sur le canapé et regarder la rivière. Si en admirant le fleuve est pas votre truc, ne vous inquiétez pas, il y a toujours le grand joueur de TV LCD et DVD pour vous divertir avec la grande station d'accueil pour iPhone pour vos morceaux.

La cuisine est équipée avec tout ce que vous attendez comme un lave-vaisselle, machine à laver, etc. Il bénéficie également d'avoir des plans de travail en bois massif; une caractéristique inhabituelle dans un appartement en centre-ville. La propriété dispose d'une plus grande quantité moyenne que de l'espace de stockage si nécessaire.

La chambre et la salle de bains sont toutes présentées à merveille. La salle de bain a été récemment carrelée et dispose d'une douche dans la baignoire. La chambre est décorée avec goût et dispose également d'une vue imprenable sur le fleuve.

L'appartement dispose d'un canapé-lit très confortable dans le salon pour accueillir une personne supplémentaire si nécessaire aussi.

This was a perfect vacation stay. Come home exhausted from a day of sightseeing and sit and relax watching the boats, kayaks, ducks and even an occasional swan go by. The location is minutes from attractions and restaurants. If you care to fix something to eat at home, the apartment is fully equipped. It was an enjoyable place to call home!

The appointment was excellent very spacious and in an excellent location the appointment had everything you need for a relaxing break the only thing I can think of that would have made thing a little better would have been a bigger fan as York was very hot while we were there but I'm still giving the room 10 out of 10

Ideal location with beautiful views of the Ouze River and the city. Easy access abd short walks (5 to 10 minutes) to the city, Shambles, Minster, pubs and restaurants. The space was clean and comfortable. It would have been ideal if the place was equipped with a clothes dryer, but other than that, it was perfect for us.

All you need and more

Absolutely fantastic location, apartment is perfect warm clean and spacious, easy check in and it has everything you need to make you feel at home. On the water front with a two minute walk to the town centre, we would highly recommend it, this is the second time we have stayed in the apartment and we will be back again.

Best location!

Excellent stay! Location is ideal - many evenings we sat and watched the activities across the river. Did the same in the early mornings. All attractions, restaurants are within walking distance. Safe and clean. Everything we needed. Would definitely come back.

Great apartment overlooking the river

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights. The location was excellent - an easy walk from the train station and an equally easy walk to all the York attractions. We loved sitting by the window and watching the pubs across the river and the boats going past. All basics provided and even the sofa bed was comfortable.

Perfect place to stay!

My husband and I spent four days in York earlier this month. When I am looking for an apartment, my most important criteria is location. Woodsmill Quay was absolutely perfect. Overlooks the River Ouse, which is beautiful at all times of year and situated between the Ouse and Skeldergate Bridges, which gave us quick access into the city center. Clean, secure, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

The apartment is a short easy walk from the train station. Communication with the property manager was excellent; prompt responses to a couple of questions we had. The property is close to York sights, good restaurants and to a Sainsbury Local if you’d like to buy your own groceries. A Marks and Spencer is not far across the Lower Ouse Bridge. The apartment is immaculate and well appointed. We’re very pleased to have spent a few nights here. And the view across the river is very pleasant.

Perfect. Clean, new, great location, nice view, attentive owners.

This apartment is located across the river from a bunch of bars, this was the only thing that made me slightly nervous about staying here. That said, even with the windows open you could barely hear any noise on a warm summer weekend tonight. This place was wonderful and we would absolutely stay there again. It was clean, nicely Furnished, fully equipped, and an historic building, and the owners were very attentive to our needs. The place is set up as a one bedroom, but our daughter was able to sleep in a comfortable pull out couch in the living room, this was much better than staying at a hotel. I highly recommend this apartment.

Great location. Poor heating.

This property has a very good location and view, with a river view from the window and close to the city centre. However, maybe the wooden floor in the property is not so solid in some parts and it makes a sound when you step on it. And multiple parts of the heating in the property don't work well. For example, the heating in the bedroom would switch off by itself. Even if I made sure the heating was on before I went to bed, it would switch off when I woke up. This resulted in me catching a cold during my stay; and the heating in the doorway needed to be turned up very high to work. Still, the staff at Stays York were very nice and brought me a portable heater after I informed them of the problem with the heating.

I am sorry for the issues you have raised. After discussing with the owner, these are night storage heaters. So are set to come in the evening, there has not been any issues with these heaters. But I am glad the team were able to drop off a portable heater for you. I hope it won't stop you from visiting York again soon.

Week in York

As we arrived in York by train we were advised by Stays York that our apartment was cleaned and ready for us. This was 2 hours early so we were delighted. It is about a 15 minute walk from the railway station with suitcases. We had stayed in No 30 before. It is very well equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable and it is sparkling clean. There is a welcome pack of milk, biscuits with lots of Yorkshire tea and coffee provided. It is ideally suited for easy access to the town facilities and also exploring the surrounding area by train. Across the River Ooze there are outside tables and bars which do create some noise mainly on Friday and Saturday nights. However if you close your windows you do not hear anything. The views from the windows are splendid with boats of all types going up and down the river. I highly recommend this apartment and would have no hesitation in going there again.

Wonderful accommodation in the perfect spot

First let me say that the photos in this listing are EXACTLY true to the apartment. What you see here is what you will be getting. I felt like I had already been here when we arrived as the photos are so accurate. The location is perfect. You can walk to everything within the city walls - all of York's tourist attractions, local supermarkets and numerous restaurants. I loved the view of the river. It was great to watch the boats going up and down and the hustle and bustle of the bars on the other side. I was worried that they might be a bit noisy but did not disturb us at all. There were more little welcome touches in this apartment than I have ever come across before - fresh flowers, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, 3 types of biscuits, milk in the fridge, coffee pods for the coffee maker and even a bar of chocolate. There were plenty of cleaning products and cloths - I took the ones I brought with me back home! The information provided about the apartment was very detailed and the check in process was very easy. Just one tiny thing to note - there is no parking with this apartment. However, we were informed of this in advance and used a parking app to park our car for a week at a really good price. In summary - the perfect apartment in the perfect location and all at a great price. We had a wonderful time.

An ideal spot close to everything

We were travelling down from near Aberdeen, an with a 6 year old, needed somewhere a little more spacious than just a family hotel room. Woodsmill Quay came up, and it fitted the bill completely. One bedroom, with a sofa bed in the living room, it was roomy enough with everything we needed. It was extremely clean, and came with everything we might have hoped for and more. Its location is ten minutes walk from the train station, an about 5 minutes into the heart of York itself. The views out over the River Ouse were lovely, and the arrangements for entry were super smooth. The only slight criticism would be that the mattress in the man bedroom could do with replacement, but otherwise we would definitely book in there again, and definitely recommend stays York to others.
