Hideaway Gite nestled under a magnificent 12th C. Chateau in beautiful Perigord

Step straight into the pool for a morning dip, relax in an acre of shaded gardens, admire the wildlife, lose yourself in stunning views and after the sun goes down, be star struck. Visit the chateau, walk through beautiful countryside and go wild water swimming in the Dordogne river.

Set in a peaceful tranquil setting and within walking distance of this stunning 12th Century Château and the village of Biron, with its restaurant and épicerie.

There is a private drive and parking and in addition, the village has an electric charging point just a short walk from the Gite.

The commune of Biron is located between the two 13th Century Bastide towns of Monpazier and Villeréal, both listed in 'Les Plus Beaux Villages de France'. Monflanquin and Belvès are also within a short drive.

The Dordogne and Lot rivers are within easy reach where you can kayak, canoe or swim. taking in the sights and many more Chateaux of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

The Gite has a small yet fully equipped kitchen, including all bedding, towels and toiletries. It is built on one level and has terraces from the two main bedrooms.

We are located just a 40 minute drive from Bergerac Airport and approximately a 2 hour trip from the airports of Bordeaux and Toulouse.
