Villa il Leccio is characterized by a large garden of about 3000 m2, very well-kept and enriched with terracotta vases, flowers, bushes and a variety of trees, connected by paths to the gardens of the other 3 villas within the farm. The garden is furnished for outdoor dining with table, chairs, a portable barbecue and large centuries-old trees for shade. About 200 meters from the villa is the rectangular in-ground swimming pool measuring 6x14 with a depth from 1.20 to 1.80 meters, equipped with sun loungers, deck chairs, an outdoor hot shower, a bathroom with shower and an outdoor kitchen furnished with mini bar, microwave, table and chairs. About 175 meters away, in the garden of Villa Buonvisi, guests can take advantage of a regular-sized tennis court (23.77 x 10.97 meters), shared with the guests of the other 3 villas within the farm. All the outdoor areas are well maintained and cared for. A gate that is always open leads to the property: from here, along about 230 meters of unpaved road, it is possible to reach the private parking, at the back of the villa.Interiors
The Villa (approximately 400 m2) is on three levels; it has been restored with conservative interventions respecting the traditional architecture of Lucca, and preserving the family's history. All the electrical and water systems were installed recently. Air conditioning is available in all the bedrooms. From the villa's entrance you access the ground floor with two living rooms, finely furnished with antique pieces, a fireplace, TV and two outdoor accesses. From here (10 steps), we reach the raised ground floor with a well-equipped kitchen with a table for 6 people and outdoor access, a dining room that can accommodate the entire group. Going up a flight of stairs, we arrive at the mezzanine floor, where we find a double bedroom, a private bathroom with tub and shower, a laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board. Via another flight of stairs you access the first floor with outdoor access to the villa's back, in front of the parking. On this floor we find a twin bedroom with a private bathroom with tub and two sinks, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, shared with a twin bedroom (whose beds can be joined), a double bedroom, a bathroom with tub and shower, shared with a twin bedroom (whose beds can be joined).

Location
Villa Il Leccio nestled among the hills a few kilometers from the city of Lucca, is located in a residential area full of villas and historic Tuscan private homes. All around the house, in the property's land, it is possible to take beautiful walks immersed in nature among olive trees and vineyards, or reach the stream with the geese, or enter the wooded area. Excellent tranquility and privacy, particularly suitable for all those who love a holiday dedicated to relaxation, nature and sport. The villa enjoys a beautiful view of the surrounding hills.

The villa is located near the small village of Segromigno in Monte and is part of an estate of 20 hectares owned by the Bernardini family, who transformed wooded areas into vineyards and olive groves, allowing production of extra virgin olive oil exported all over the world. From Segromigno it is possible to take various hiking trails by bike or on foot, discovering postcard villages, princely villas, majestic parish churches, an archaeological heritage and a landscape of rolling vineyards, flowers and giant trees such as the "great oak", listed among the monumental trees of Italy. In the area you can visit famous villas such as Villa Torrigiani, a fragment of French beauty transplanted to Tuscany, Villa Reale di Marlia, Villa Mansi, as well as the interesting village of Camellias. It is also advisable to visit the Serchio River Park, flanked by cereal and poplar crops and crossed by the cycle-pedestrian path.
