Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain’s best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
Town: Arnisdale is a tranquil seaside hamlet resting between Glenelg and the remote village of Corran. Renowned for stunning views of Loch Hourn, rugged mountainous landscapes, and situated on the foot of Beinn Sgritheall, it is perfectly positioned for nature lovers and photographers alike. Arnisdale itself offers an array of attractions, including scenic walking routes and boat trips where local wildlife like seals and otters come up to say hello. Stock up on the essentials at Glenelg Shop if you opt for some home cooking, before catching a ferry over to the Isle of Skye. Here, you can hike to The Storr, or take a scenic drive to the Fairy Pools, where crystal-clear waters and cascading waterfalls invite you for a refreshing dip amidst breathtaking scenery.
