Villa Tavarnelle is a villa near Florence that can sleep 14 guests comfortably in 7 spacious bedrooms. It is situated in the heart of the Chianti hills, on a hillside overlooking valleys rich in history. The house itself also has an interesting history. Once an ancient manor house belonging to rich 15th century merchants and art patrons, it become a country residence in the 18th century. It was then purchased in the 1950s by the current owners who have restored it to its former splendour.



The Space:

The interior space of this villa near Florence is laid out over two floors. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining room and two bedrooms. Both of these rooms can be laid out with two single beds or with a kingsize bed. The first has a bathroom with walk-in shower whilst the second has a bathroom with tub.



On the first floor of this villa near Florence, there are two spacious living rooms and a further give bedrooms. Three of these bedrooms can be laid out with two single beds or a kingsize bed. Each of these rooms has an ensuite bathroom with shower. There is also a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower. And finally, there is a single bedroom. There is the option of adding a second single bed in this room if required. This also has an ensuite shower room.



In the grounds of this villa near Florence, guests will have a private pool to enjoy. The pool measures 15 x 7 metres and is between 1.1 and 1.2 metres deep. It is fully fenced. There is also a heated jacuzzi which can seat 5 people. Plenty of terraces provide places to sit, sunbathe and relax. These include a wonderful covered outdoor eating area. There is a BBQ and pizza oven for al fresco dining. The gardens are immaculately kept and the setting is idyllic.
