You can walk directly from your doorstep onto the Manifold Valley trail or into the village of Longnor which is just over 1 mile, where you will find a local shop and a good pub. Should you choose to visit the local towns, Buxton has a lot to offer with a fantastic park known as the Pavilion Gardens, The Opera House which has shows on weekly or its many places to eat and shop. There are further local walks to be enjoyed such as the High Peak Trail, Tissington Trail, Monsal Head or a walk across Dovedale’s famous stepping stones.
