I was brought up in Blakeney and the surrounding area , nanny n grandad and their 8 children lived there and my nanny and grandads siblings all there and surrounding villages ,so we always went there at every opportunity .My fathers family were lobster fishermen in Sheringham . Mum worked in sheringham in the late 50s and they met along the promenade and married in 1963. They had their own Electrical TV AUDIO shop in North walsham from 1970 and In the 80s my father bought the first cottage on Morston rd,no 36, actually my great grandmothers cottage that my mother was born in ! The first then led to the next few being bought so they had 6 in total . They Downsized in the late 90s but still keeping one on the high st. Jollyboat cottage . Iâve only just bought this one (May 2024)completely gutting it and stripping back to the real character of the cottage . Next month Iâll be getting the keys to another on Westgate st too ! Pimpernel So if I canât help you with this cottage get in touch. Dates may be available ! Pimpernel will be dog friendly (up to 3 )
