La maison idéale pour une escapade dans un pays viticole!

Les chambres sont bien aménagées pour votre confort. Les deux chambres ont des lits king-size avec une literie de luxe, des oreillers rembourrés, des couettes moelleuses, chacune avec une salle de bain privée complète. Les bains comprennent des serviettes en coton turc, un sèche-cheveux et des articles de toilette. La cuisine est magnifique et parfaite pour préparer un repas gastronomique ou un petit déjeuner simple, vous apprécierez les appareils haut de gamme et l'espace suffisant. Lave-vaisselle, cafetière Keurig avec des capsules de café, micro-ondes, cuisinière / four, théière et eau filtrée tout inclus.

Dehors, vous trouverez une magnifique terrasse pour profiter de votre café du matin et / ou dîner en plein air. Cette maison a une ambiance globale décontractée, à la fois élégante et fonctionnelle.

Well stocked amenities in the home.Thermostat is a little tricky but once you figure it out, it works great. If you are sensitive to road noise, I would suggest earplugs for the people staying in the bedroom closest to the street.We found it perfect for two couples doing various winetasting.

Wonderful accommodations!

Easy access, great accommodations, love that there are two king beds and two bathrooms. Plenty of space for four adults to hang out. Highly recommend this place!

Great girls weekend!

This was a great stay for my friend and I. Everything in town is walkable, and the house was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Very cute back yard and deck area to relax in after a day visiting wineries, shopping, or visiting some of the nearby coastal towns.

Very Nice Home!!!

This is a very nice home that’s conveniently located to downtown Paso Robles and the Fairgrounds. The house was immaculate upon our check-in. The kitchen, appliances, and bathrooms have all been updated. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. Janis, who is the owner of the property is wonderful. It’s perfect for four people. I would definitely recommend staying here!!

We had a great visit. The property was very nice, clean and well-maintained. We had a problem with the A/C one day. We called the owner and she was all over it. Got it fixed very quickly. We would stay here again if we go to Paso Robles.

Cozy cottage with beautiful yard

The house is barn meets global meets cozy cottage. Absolutely adorable with layered rugs, lots of color and the perfect amount of decor to be comfortable and homey, but not cluttered. The yard is clever with pathways, beautiful flowers, trees and the cutest yard decor. A little French country garden steps off the back patio.

Beautiful property and easy check in and access. Very comfortable beds and a very nice quiet place to stay. My only complaint would be the very restrictive policy about having guests. I was in town to visit my adult daughter and her husband with my two adult sons and the policy stated if I had even one person over that my reservation would be revoked and my deposit would be forfeited. But being that it was a holiday. It was kind of sad that I couldn’t even have my daughter and her husband over for a glass of wine.

Nice spot

Cute and cozy 2bd/2ba with everything you need for 2 couples. The deck and backyard is great. It's 7 blks to downtown so not super walkable but very central to all the Paso has to offer. The only thing to be aware of is that the owners do not want any non-renter "on their property" so if you are meeting friends or family in Paso, they cannot come on-site for any reason.

Yes, Kristen is correct, we host only the guests on the reservation and no additional guests. Thanks Kristen for pointing it out, as we also have this policy stated in our listing several times, we want to be up front about our house rules and rent to those who are willing to comply… it makes it so much easier. Anyway, we’re so glad you enjoyed your visit to PASO and while 7 blocks to downtown it’s 1 block from our newest attraction- The PASO Market Walk, complete with a wine bar, coffee house, ice cream shop, bakery, beer bar and full service restaurant/ check it next visit!

Spring Visit to Paso

Janis' home was perfect for our visit. The location was great and the bedrooms included 2 very comfortable king beds and there were 2 full baths. The house was very clean, quaint and nicely upgraded. The backyard patio looked nice, but it was too cold for us to enjoy when we were there. We took two trips to the Hearst castle. We also had fun shopping in Paso and surrounding towns. Janis was also kind enough to share her favorite restaurants and we enjoyed them as well. Thanks Janis - Cindy

Great spot for wine-tasting weekend

Great spot for our party of 4 to set up camp for a weekend of wine-tasting. House was very cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. Just one minor observation. The layered area rugs in the living room were a bit of a tripping hazard. Maybe remove the top rug or put down a thinner rug on top? Hope to come back some day. Thanks again!

Lovely, quiet and convenient

The property was clean, comfortable and convenient. Both king beds were comfortable with warm blankets. The outside space looked very inviting but due to the weather (snow!) we did not use it. The kitchen is set up well for food prep but could use just a few more things to make it easier, ie. zip-lock bags, a few extra forks (there were only 4). It's close to downtown but still about 6 blocks from the main drag. We enjoyed our walked around the neighborhood. Overall it's a great property for two couples.

Adequate but not Special

Have stayed in many VRBOs and this one was the least impressive, not very well stocked for guests. No coffee available, one thin bath towel per person for four days, not even a box of tissues. After some texts back and forth, four fluffy bath towels arrived. Overall ok but nothing special. On the main street, traffic noise in the front bedroom, bring ear plugs.

Great place very well located would stay again

The home was perfect. There were 2 friends being together, close to wine tasting, grocery, etc. The home was clean and tidy. Please note we like to cook rather than eat out. If you are like us there are no storage containers to put leftovers in. Since we were headed to another rental we bought storage containers at the local grocery store but we did not leave them. For just a few dollars it was worth it! We needed them at the next location also. This has plenty of hot water, which I love. For 2 to 4 purple this place would be a great place to stay. If I come back this way I would definitely try to stay here again. Thank you again for sharing this lovely home.

This house is better than the pictures!

Beautifull home with 2 comfortable king beds and 2 bathrooms (hard to find) with a great layout and small patio for outdoor fun. Kitchen is stocked with plenty of typical items; a Keurig with plenty of pods, a regular coffee maker with plenty of coffee and filters! Plenty of Turkish towels, and beautifully decorated!!!! You can walk into downtown (about a 20 min. walk). There is a strict rule that only your registered house mates can be in the house, NO visitors. If you have friends or family in the area, they cannot come to the house without prior approval...I'm sure this is to prevent parties, but it is a hard rule. This was not an issue for us, but be aware before you rent.Hostess is responsive, prior/during and after, we had an issue with the TV which has a Roku and you must be able to pass through to get to apps. (Netflix, etc.) I'm not technical but we figured it out.Parking is out front on the street and easy, minimal work to check out, and easy door entry process!!!!!!I will rent this house again, great experience!

The home was in a good location, making walking into town easy for dinners and the Thursday night concert in the park. Most of the basics you would expect in a vacation rental were available. My three star rating comes mostly from the uncommon amount of posted rules the host has for her guests, including the AC not being set below 75 so we were less than comfortable sleeping (we would have paid extra to lower the temp!) and no guests outside of those registered - even having a friend for dinner or hiring someone to cook for you. I also reached out to ask if we could drop our things 15 minutes early and she said she couldn't accommodate an early check in. We ended up sitting in our car in front of the house for 15 minutes waiting for the 4 pm check in time and no one came or went from the house during that time so we struggled to understand what harm there would have been with us dropping our bags to avoid having them in our hot cars while we went to our 4:30 tasting appointment. There were a few minor maintenance issues such as burned out light bulbs and a low battery warning on the thermostat that the host insisted was a result of people using it incorrectly when I asked if there was a battery available in the house for us to replace it. One other item that wasnt clear to us when we booked this property is that the bedrooms both have a bathroom to use but one is ensuite and one is across the hall. I wish that had been more clear in the posting.

Joy, I’m disappointed by your review.. and unclear. All of our policies are very clearly identified in our listing. We do that to ensure it’s a good fit for perspective guests.. if any/all of them didn’t suit your needs you were informed and able to select a different property. Our #1 goal is for our guests to have a fantastic experience. In the future, read the listing in full and choose accordingly, it’s not fair to the host to rent knowing the policies don’t suit you, and trying to change them after booking. My best to you-

Quiet location with easy walk to downtown

We stayed here during a wine tasting trip with another couple. We are all in our 50s. We took advantage of the house's location and walked to town each evening after wine tasting - an easy stroll, less than a mile from the town center. We loved gathering together in the mornings for coffee on the deck. Even though the daytime temps were in the 100s, the mornings were in the 70s with a gentle breeze. The house is set up nicely for two couples. We each had our own bedroom and bathrooms. We cooked breakfast together each morning, and enjoyed eating together outside. We all remarked at how quiet the neighborhood is, and how beautifully done the backyard is. You enjoy your morning coffee next to a bountiful display of lavender, and barely hear anything other than birds chirping. All the appliances are top notch. The gas stove is a luxury in a rental and we really enjoyed that. The beds were very comfortable, and the entire house is very tastefully decorated. Everything from the inside out gives you a sense of calm and openness. We would all recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet location, but one that is centrally located and within easy walking distance to town. It is also of course perfectly situated to both 46 West and East wineries. A definite winner!

I’m glad you mentioned PASO temps, they’re really not that bad in the summer months, even our high temp only lasts a few hours in the afternoons, mornings and evenings are amazing! This is one of several wine country getaway's she has furnished with every detail in mind, with the feeling and comfort of casual elegance. Janis is active on the winery property, plays golf, rides her horses and enjoys a life focused around good wine & food.

This property is cozy, yet very comfortable and located close to all of the wineries and well as downtown shopping and dining. The backyard is a beautiful outdoor living space perfect for morning coffee and dinners al fresco. Both bedrooms boast king sized beds with a private bath for each room.
