Squirrelâs Nest is a top floor apartment containing two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lovely open plan living space. Beautifully furnished in tones of blue and dove grey assisted by quality fabrics and soft furnishings from Laura Ashley and Sanderson. Squirrelâs Nest is a relaxing and luxurious living space. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family holiday. Modern touches such as the Tassimo Coffee Machine to make your early morning coffee whilst enjoying the view out to Cary Park & its tennis courts and the WiFi add to the experience. A 49â TV with Netflix encourages you to put your feet up and relax after a day of sightseeing. Should you not wish to eat out in one of Torquayâs many restaurants, then the fully fitted kitchen (including dishwasher and washing machine) has everything you need to create a lovely meal. Allocated parking for one car is also available.
Squirrelâs Nest is just a few minutes walk to the famous Babbacombe Downs overlooking Lyme Bay. The nostalgic Victorian Cliff railway takes you to the Sandy beach below where you can hire kayaks in the summer, or if you feel energetic you can walk the meandering road down through the trees instead. A theatre, restaurants and coffee shops are all within 5 mins walk serving devon clotted cream teas among other delicious treats.
We are blessed with the location as you can easily reach many other areas of South Devon easily and quickly. Brixham and Paignton are close at hand as is the magnificent beauty of Dartmoor - our National Park with its free wandering ponies. Beaches are everywhere with many offering paddle boards and kayaks to hire. The medieval town of Totnes is some 20 minutes away with a wonderful river tour down the Dart to Dartmouth with its Naval History and quaint cobbled streets. Should you wish to shop then catch the train from Torquay to the city of Exeter. The train runs alongside the sea for much of the journey and is an excursion in its own right!
So come and visit this glorious part of England and return to Squirrelâs Nest at the end of the day for some rest and relaxation!

I live just outside Torquay and from that perspective I am nearly always available to assist you should you need it. Owning a holiday home is wonderful as it enables me to contribute our beautiful accommodation to a guestâs holiday memories. Itâs so nice to welcome returning guests!

Torquay is naturally beautiful, with the coast on one side and rolling hills and open countryside on the other. There are some very quaint villages and towns to explore which arenât too far away too. Lots for adults and children to do and see within a short drive and some attractions are on your doorstep so you can leave the car behind!

The high ceilings and larger than average rooms makes Squirrelâs Nest a delight to stay in. Exceptionally clean with beautiful decor from Sanderson and Laura Ashley in dove greys and blues results in a restful but chic experience. The fully fitted kitchen, 49â TV and Netflix enables a night in, to be a home from home event.
The apartment is conveniently located just five minutes stroll from the bars and restaurants of Babbacombe Downs overlooking the sea and beach. In the summer, take the Babbacombe Cliff Railway down to Oddicombe Beach and hire paddle boards or enjoy lunch by the sea.
A small Tesco Express is located just two minutes walk away as is Cary Park with the lovely childrenâs play area and tennis courts which can be hired.
