Cheriton Coastal Cottage
This spacious holiday home is ideally located in Walmer which adjoins the Georgian town of Deal, and would suit families, groups or couples looking for a traditional seaside escape. It is located one street behind Walmerâs pebble beach with its own parade of shops and under one mile into the centre of Deal which boasts an array of independent shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs. Promenade along the sea front, eat fish and chips, take the children to the free paddling pool where they can splash around. For keen walkers there are the White Cliffs of Dover or join the Saxon Shore Way. For history lovers visit Walmer and Deal castles or enjoy the art scene here with many galleries, exhibitions, and museums to visit. Enjoy exploring Dover Castle (7 miles) or a trip to Broadstairs (16 miles) with its spectacular coastline and beaches and Ramsgate, with its eclectic mix of artisan and boutique shops.
Step inside this spacious coastal property which offers both style and comfort. The living room is beautifully presented with a large sofa and two armchairs around a Smart TV. There are also games for evening entertainment. Step down into the separate dining room and adjoining kitchen with French doors out to the garden. The kitchen has a central island and a bistro table and chairs, perfect for morning coffees. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped with everything needed for preparing family meals. Off the kitchen there is a useful utility room with a washing machine and a dyer. This room doubles up as a shower room with a WC. From the dining room there are stone stairs (with a handrail) to the basement bedroom. This room has a king-size bed with a skylight and a large wardrobe. On the first floor there are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is a cosy twin room with a hanging rail and a single bedroom, also with a hanging rail. Next door is the family bathroom which has a bath and WC.
Outside there is a paved courtyard garden with outside table and chairs and two rattan sun loungers, perfect for relaxation.
