The Merriment is located in the tranquil village of Worth, conveniently situated between Sandwich and Deal with plenty of golf, beaches, historic and family attractions, independent shops and restaurants in the surrounding towns. This spacious 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom house is ideal for families or groups. This holiday home will provide a perfect countryside retreat, but amenities and the beach are only a few minutesâ drive in any direction.
There is plenty of space to get together and find peace and quiet in this home from home. The social heart of the home provides an open plan cooks kitchen with dining and seating area complete with a retro arcade table. The ground floor also comprises of a separate cosy lounge, study area overlooking the large garden, and a W.C. There is also a double bedroom on the ground floor.
Upstairs presents a principal bedroom with en-suite, a further double bedroom, a twin room, and a family bathroom. The large garden is perfect for relaxing and entertaining, and the BBQ is waiting for you to enjoy. No matter where you are in this holiday home, your view will be the countryside. Enjoy the patio, table tennis and childrenâs slide, swings and climbing frame. With fresh towels, a well-stocked kitchen, full range of facilities, games, WIFI, and parking for 4+ cars there is nothing else to think about except having a great time.
Close to Sandwich, Deal, and attractions, itâs perfect for a relaxing getaway all year round with plenty to explore when you are out and about! The village also has two traditional Kentish Pubs, along with lots of walking and cycling options.

Worth is a quiet village with a history dating back to Norman times. The village today has a church, a village hall, two pubs and all less than a 10-minute walk away.
The village is so quiet and peaceful you wouldnât believe that itâs only 2 minutes from the A258, meaning itâs less than a 10-minute drive to Sandwich, which is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Britain, which hasnât changed much at all since the Domesday Book.
Youâll love its laid-back vibe and the fantastic range of independent shops, pubs and restaurants.
You canât mention Sandwich without thinking of golf, as youâre also less than 10 minutesâ drive from the world famous Royal St Georges course. Noted as being the No.1 links course in England, it has played host to world the famous Open Championship fifteen times (the most recent being in 2021).
When you want to hit the beach, Sandwich Bay is only a few minutesâ drive away or visit the historic coastal town of Deal which is around 15 minutesâ drive away. Deal has a maritime buzz, but still retains its Georgian period charm, with an unspoilt seafront and the Grade II listed pier.
Alternatively, you can head 25 minutes west to historic Canterbury. Itâs one of the most beautiful historic cities in the country, home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with a host of cultural attractions and great shopping.
