Campo de Fiori - Rome, nice apartment with terrace for 6 people
This comfortable and centrally located apartment is on the top-floor of a period building close to Campo de Fiori and can host up to 6 people. Very bright and quiet, it comprises a comfortable living room with dining area and sofa bed for two, a well-equipped kitchen, double bedroom and one bathroom with shower. From the living room you access to a mezzanine with double bed and to a charming private terrace with table and chairs, where you can enjoy the mild weather of the city. The apartment is very characteristic with period features such as the beam ceiling and the cotto tiles on the floor but has all the modern amenities. The location is perfect, in the heart of Rome but still in a very quiet road, with all the amenities the city can offer.
The property was lovely however the description did not capture how extensive the climb up the stairs would be with luggage. Emauele who greeted us was amazing and extremely helpful. He gets 5 stars!!!amazing an
The agent that met us was very nice and helpful. The location is great; however, I depend on reviews to help me make decisions about where to stay, so I must leave an honest review. There are in excess of 60 stairs to arrive in the apartment. The beds are not comfortable. The hot water is not dependable. I would not stay here again.
The property is in the best spot in Romeâ nestled in the small winding streets near Campo Di Fiore. It is cute and uniqueâ up a very tall flight of hefty but charming stairs. It is overpriced for the condition of the placeâ as the bathroom was not clean and in some disrepair and the general apartment could be taken care of better, but the terrace was beautiful. The bed was hard, which we have found may just be the way it is in Europe! Okay stay overall.
The apartment was exactly as advertised and worked well for 5 adults (parents and adult children). The location was perfect and we walked everywhere. The terrace was beautiful and the facilities were good. The bed in the main bedroom was a little hard, but we had walked so much we really didnât mind. The late August weather was hot and humid so the air conditioning was welcome at the end of the day.
Location is very good. We have rented in Rome 25+ times, visiting 2 or 3 times a year, and we like this location. However, this property needs a lot of work, as I told the property manager before we left. Gianluca said he was aware of some of the problems and some work was scheduled.
We stayed for three weeks and likely will not return to this apartment.
- 60+ steep stairs to apartment, and watch your head - ceiling is low.
- Apartment is as pictured. Rooms are small.
- Whole apartment needs thorough cleaning (more than just sweeping the floor), fresh paint, and maintenance
- Bathroom in particular needs a deep clean. Mold and mildew in shower, on the ceiling and all corners. No usable hooks or towel racks in bathroom. Hot water tank is small, good for one shower.
- Rooms are small and dark with sloped ceiling in bedroom - watch your head!
- No storage for clothes. The very few drawers in the apartment are full of blankets. The only place to hang clothes is the maintenance closet above the mop and mop bucket. Even leaving an open suitcase somewhere is difficult given how small the rooms are.
Again, good location, small apartment, needs a lot of work. Mid-range on the price scale.
Location was fantastic and the terrace was the best thing about this property. There was nice air conditioning. Overall, the apartment was on the shabby and quite dark side. Terrace floor was very dirty. Bathroom was barely ok, no place to hang towels or shelves for soap/ shampoo in shower. Light was clinical in the bathroom, as it was everywhere else in the apartment. The kitchen was not welcoming at all, no kitchen towels or disposable towels anywhere, nothing in the fridge, no water, milk, no basics. There was a washing machine but no washing detergent was provided either. The wifi was nice, as it was portable so we could carry it with us through Rome. There was a window in the bedroom that had no drapes or anything and light got in at 6 am or so waking us up. Sheets were nice and the bed was comfy overall. There were no closets whatsoever so no place to hang clothes. The apartment was on the top floor, up a lot of stairs, which was nice for us but I assume not for everybody. We will likely not stay there again.
The apartment is well refined and really comfortable and the terrace is fantastic. Also the area is very good, restaurants shops and bars.
We highly recommend it!
We highly recommend this apartment, it's very clean and characteristic. We adored the terrace! It is situated in one of the best areas of the city centre, despite this, the area is very silent and safe.
