The harbour of Alcudia in the north of Mallorca is 4 km away. The bay offers kilometres of fine sandy beaches, some of which are sheltered from the wind. There is a large selection of cafés and restaurants, clothes shops, supermarkets and doctors.



The historic old town of Pollença is about 5 kilometres away.

For many years, artists from all over the world have been coming to Pollensa to be inspired by the landscape and the Serra de Tramuntana. Numerous celebrities such as Winston Churchill, Agatha Christie, the British writer Peter Ustinov and many others have also chosen this beautiful village as their holiday destination.

The village's landmarks are the 365 steps and the Calvary, at the top of which is a small baroque chapel from the 18th century. Each step symbolises a day of the year.

Numerous cultural events and music festivals take place in the historic atmosphere of Pollença.

In the Balearic Islands there is a tourist tax, called Ecotasa, which has to be paid for every guest over 16 years of age.

Per day and person, the tax is

from 1 November to 30 April: 0,55 euros and

from 1 May to 31 October: 2,20 euros.

From the ninth night onwards, this amount is reduced by half. The Ecotasa can be paid by credit card, bank transfer or cash. Payment is compulsory.
