A detached cottage in the village of Carron in County Clare, Ireland that can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
Limestone Cottage is a stone-built, detached property in the village of Carron in County Clare, Ireland. It has two bedrooms consisting of a double and a twin as well as a family bathroom, the cottage can sleep four people. Also inside there is a kitchen diner, a sitting room with an open fire and a sitting room with a solid fuel stove. To the outside there is off road parking for two cars and a patio area with furniture. Limestone Cottage is an attractive property in a great location for exploring what this incredible part of Ireland has to offer. Please Note: the shower over bath is due to be replaced with a shower cubicle that will be in use from April 2023
Amenities: Oil-fired central heating with open fire and solid fuel stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumbledryer, TV with Freeview, WiFi, Radio, selection of books and games. Cot and Highchair available on request. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire and solid fuel stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed patio garden. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 7 miles. Note: Sloping ceilings in bedrooms.
Region: County Clare has so much on offer; boat trips, quirky pubs, seaside resorts and a great tradition for Irish music, all set amidst spectacular scenery such as the towering Cliffs of Moher and the fascinating landscape of The Burren.
Town: In the village thereâs a pub, along with views over the Burren, in the area thereâs walking routes. Within reach is Lisdoonvarna, home to the Spa Wells Health Centre, pubs, shops and restaurants. Ennis is also within driving distance with its narrow streets, market square, shops and restaurants. Other attractions are the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren National Park. Carron is an ideal base for exploring this part of County Clare. Both the nearest beach and Wild Atlantic way are 7 miles away. Further afield it is possible to reach Galway (28 miles) or Dublin (162 miles) and it is only 30 miles to Shannon Airport.
