Lovely house. Lots of essentials you may need in the kitchen, lounge area. Washing machine, large fridge/freezer, cooker and hob very large TV, ample seating, all crockery, cutlery and utensils. Even games and toys for rainy days, along with a few essentials in the cupboards. The beautiful view from all principle rooms is to die for! Beds and beddings all very good. Bathrooms (lower floor and 1st floor with additional toilet on the 2nd flood) were clean and functional, the showers are amazing. Patio with table to soak up the view, chat with the neighbours and see the seals. With all the social space on the lower floor with access to ourside it was perfect for the family. The twin rooms (1 x ground floor, 1 x 1st floor) are a good size, one with a tv. The double rooms (1 x ground floor, 1 x 1st floor with stairs through to 1 x second floor) all have 'The View' and two had tvs, one with a play station. It is just a very short and pleasant walk into town, but it is quite a steep hill back up! We found parking for 3 cars along the roads around without any issue. The host was easily contactable and very helpful. We loved out week away.
Property was comfortable and clean. Stairs are rather steep so not for someone with problems walking.Location of house beautiful views around the bay. As high up with wonderful views it keeps you fit to walk back from the harbour and shops only 10-15 minutes BBQ and fire pit available,
Brixham is beautiful.
The property has amazing views.
Shower over bath, ok ISH, but the tap leaks. It also leaks in the kitchen.
No recycling and the outside bin was full to the brim.
We paid extra ÂŁ100 for linen and was expected to strip beds on vacating.
Think this is a bit much to ask when you have to vacate at 9.30am and the fact we paid extra ÂŁ100 for this service.
The stairs are extremely steep, but you are advised about that.
Having said that. Paul the host and VRBO were very helpful.
Brixham is such a lovely place and the views especially at night, were just lovely.

The house was fabulous , spacious and clean. The beds were already made up and there were plenty of towels .This was a nice surprise as we read that we had to take our own .The lower stairs aren't suitable for toddlers or people with poor mobility ..Paul the owner was easy to contact .The views are spectacular spectacularspectaculaspvery easysuit
Great house in a great location. Bedrooms were of a good size. House well equipped. View's were stunning. Communication from host was great. Would definitely stay again.
Great stay for a couple of days catching up with friends.
Location and view amazing, accommodation clean and beds very comfortable.
We very much enjoyed our break.
Nice property, some parking available on the street but may be harder in the summer months. Nice size for all of us to fit in and the downstairs room, kitchen diner was good for socialising. The steps down to the kitchen are steep and may cause issues for people with mobility issues or little kids but all good for us.
What a find! We had a wonderful time, the location of this property is perfect with amazing views and a short walk to the harbour side. The property is well stocked and we were able to park right outside. The stairs down to the kitchen area are very steep which might be of consideration to elderly or very young visitors. Would highly recommend
We loved the house and it was so well equipped for a hassle free stay. Steep stairs were a funny talking point but the size of the house was fabulous. Plenty of equipment and lovely tidy furnishings so we could all relax, cook, and enjoy our time together. The host Paul was faultless and we had good contact before our trip which meant we had no surprises.
The house was very large and suited out larger family
Needs . Wonderful scenic views of the harbour and very quiet and peaceful. It wasnât easy to get parked near the house and it was a busy season, so thatâs understandable.
Overall we had a really nice time.
Lovely couple of nights away here - perfect for us and our friends! Great location close to the town centre and amazing views from so many of the rooms and the terrace.
Stairs down to the lounge/kitchen are a little steep for anyone with mobility issues - but we were fine.
Loved our stay here and will hopefully return next summer đ
Lovely cottage with amazing views over the harbour
Lovely cottage with all mod cons spread over 4 floors. We explored the area with very little driving. Within 10 mins walk is the beautiful Fishcombe Cove, at the bottom of Battery Gardens. The museum was a small gem, with very helpful guides. Free entry on 3 afternoons a week. Other places to visit include Greenway House, Berry Head and Totnes. There is much more but we ran out of time.
Parking is in the roadside, we had 3 cars and always found a spot easily within 2 mins walk and often much closer. Park almost opposite was great to exercise the dog in the early morning and late at night. 5 min walk into town, probably nearer 10 min as it's a steep hill.
The cottage itself iscompactGo down to the main living space with up to date kitchen with all that we needed to cater for ourselves. Large fridge with freezer under, cooker and hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Tea towels and dishcloths provided.
Fabulous views from this property which was chosen to suit a family of 10, 3 generations, and our dog. There was everything we needed and more. Limited street parking immediately outside but donât let this put you off as plenty further up the street just a short walk away. We were lucky enough to see seals and dolphins. Great communication from our helpful host
Brilliant stay, views amazing, stairs very steep so not suitable for people with mobility issues. Host extremely helpful would definitely recommend to friends and family. If you want an excellent meal go to The Prince William across the harbour.
Lovely stay, steep stairs would be difficult with young children or older people but we were fine. 6 minutes walk to harbour with lots of dining and drinking. We all had a fabulous time here.
