The bedrooms include two king-size doubles, serviced by a shower room and bathroom. To the outside is off-road parking for three cars and an enclosed garden with decking and covered seating area. Within 0.4 miles or less there is a shop, pub and beach. This property does not tolerate smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Town: Charming Portree, located on the picturesque and serene Isle of Skye, is home to a fantastic selection of stores, hotels, and restaurants. There are several cultural attractions; the Aros Centre is highly recommended due to its schedule of performances in the theatre, concerts, and the cinema. With sea kayaking, rock climbing, and a wide variety of well-marked treks, sports fans are well supplied for as well. The Trotternish Ridge, a 31-kilometer stretch of uninterrupted cliffs with numerous amazing rock formations and pinnacles, has particularly stunning rock formations. Other attractions on this enchanted isle include Dunvegan Castle and the Talisker Distillery Visitor Center.

Great spot in Portree

Our stay was great! The house is very nice and was super clean. It’s in a very convenient spot to get around. Would highly recommend a stay here if you’re staying on Isle of Skye.

Isle of Skye Adventures

Pebble Cottage is a beautiful place to stay when visiting the Isle of Skye. It was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The large kitchen was wonderful to prepare meals for our crew and the washer/dryer were a great addition.

Pebble Cottage was awesome!!! It was only a short walk to the town center, we had a place to park the car, and the cottage was absolutely lovely! Would 100% stay here again!

Great place to stay

Let’s get the bad out of the way first… the internet access was abysmal. I had to cancel an online business meeting due to the terrible performance. I left a message for the host on VRBO and called the phone number for “Anthony” who was listed as my contact in case I needed anything. No response. None. I’ll upload the SpeedTest results to show you the internet speed.Now, the house is great! Peaceful. Well equipped. Clean. Comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, but I’d want to know that I could reach someone if I had a question. Not sure why they failed to respond.

Modern Cottage in Isle of Skye

This cottage was the perfect setting for travelers to Isle of Skye within walking distance of town. All amenities were provided and worked perfectly. We highly recommend using Pebble Cottage as you base in picturesque Isle of Skye.

Perfect Portree home for 2 couples

This was a wonderful home and perfect for two couples. Great location in Portree, with convenient access to all the main hiking destinations. Clean and exactly and as described in the listing. Also appreciated the little Welcome kit from the host family. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Isle of Skye Haven

Loved the cleanliness and location of the property. Very roomy for my family and I to have our own space when needed. Funny story… we were tired of eating out and so stopped at the conveniently located Coop store to get supplies to make Chicken Fettucine Alfredo. When we got back to the house, however, the only pan in the house was a 9x13 cake pan. So we fried chicken in the cake pan, cleaned the pan and made Alfredo sauce in it, and used the coffee pot to make pasta. Bottom line… we loved our stay here but a few frying pans or pots would be a nice addition. Overall we couldn’t recommend this home any higher. We loved our stay here and our cooking adventure just added to the wonderful stories we will take home from Scotland.

Perfect location. Easy to walk to town. Fun shops and enjoyable bars, restaurants and cafes. We had a wonderful stay. The beds were comfortable and the home was lovely. I highly recommend!

Sweet rental

Nice place. Clean and well appointed. Fantastic location, close enough to town center to easily walk, but far enough to be secluded and away from all the 'other' tourists. Nice beds, pillows and towels. A very comfortable place. We appreciate the opportunity to stay there. A few things to be aware of: When we got there, the heat was on, and it was very hot inside. They have instructions for the radiators, and we shut them all off... and were fine for the rest of our stay. (We turned them on before we left, but just not as high). One bedroom door to the patio sticks at the bottom. They provide NOTHING to wash dishes with, although there is a dish washer. We went into town and got dish wash cloths, as we wanted to wash dishes without running the washer. There is NOTHING to clean up any kind of mess in the kitchen or bathrooms. We like to keep the place clean, so we bought paper towels and other things to clean up after ourselves. No washcloths (common in Scotland), and almost nowhere to hang wet towels to dry, and the towel warmer isn't big enough for two bath towels and two face towels. More hooks or a towel bar is needed.

Good Location

This cottage met all of our needs for a two night stay. It was an easy walk to downtown Portree and many restaurants. We had nice weather during our stay in mid September and we were able to sit outside on the deck/patio. Check in and checkout was easy. We appreciated the drink and snack welcome gift from our host.
