But venture a little further and you’ll see why you’ve picked the perfect spot for your holiday. The coastline is very close and is packed with coastal habitats to explore. Stroll along the promenade or pier in Cromer, visit the wide sandy beach at Sheringham, take a seasonal boat trip out to see the seals from Morston or enjoy the sea air on the picturesque quay at Wells-next-the-Sea. From here you can also be in the heart of the Norfolk Broads in 45 minutes, drifting along those famous waterways. A mere 10 minute drive will take you to the market town of Holt, or you can visit the fine city of Norwich and discover the famous Norman castle and the host of other attractions it holds. History buffs, nature lovers, golf fans, foodies and walkers will be spoilt for choice here too. Then it’s back to romantic Rose Cottage for a lovely night’s sleep. Bliss!
