Luna Azul - a beach house that sleeps 8 guests in 3 bedrooms

Luna Azul is ideally located for the village centre, playground and beach. Fully-refurbished in 2021 to an excellent standard.

Enter through the side door into the open plan living space with well-equipped kitchen, dining space and lounge area with sofas, TV and log burning stove. Down the hallway are 3 bedrooms all with their own ensuite shower or bathroom.

At the front is a large deck with seating. There is also an outside shower (great for your dog, or for when you return from the beach). Off road parking for 2 cars. Large lawned area at the rear, ideal for relaxing in the sun and for children to play safely.

This property sleeps 6 in bedrooms (king, large king/twin or request, twin), with the option of accommodating a further 1 or 2 people using the sofa bed in the living room.

Please note the driveway and path have been replaced with tarmac which is ideal for those with mobility issues.

As always a great stay. We could see improvements that had been made since our last visit. The only thing I forgot to mention was none of the remote controls worked and all the A+++ batteries in the property were dead, but this made for some entertaining fun with board games instead.

A wonderful place for a family get-together

We are regular visitors to Filey Bay and this was our second stay at Luna Azul which is perfect for our three-generation family plus our dog. It's fully equipped with everything we need, the beds are comfortable, the furniture and linen are excellent quality and everything was spotlessly clean. We were very lucky with the weather and made use of the outdoor furniture - you can follow the sunshine from the front in the morning to the back in the evening, there are 3 sitting areas. The decking and the grassed area is perfect for taking little ones outside to play and the outdoor shower is handy for washing off the sand after being on the beach. We even managed a swim in the sea as well as in the swimming pool. There are grassed areas to walk dogs near the football pitch and we discovered the new clifftop path which leads to Hunmanby Gap where there's a beach cafe. The on-site shop and pub are very handy and there are some lovely local shops in Hunmanby, a short drive away. I recommend The Hunmanby Pantry Deli for delicious freshly made sandwiches. We ordered a supermarket food delivery which arrived shortly after we checked in and this was very convenient. We have no hesitation in recommending Filey Bay Direct.
