Welcome to Jolly Roger Cottage is 4 bed house at The Bay Filey holiday village. Featuring open plan living this is a great choice for a large family (or two families) holiday.

Enter into the property and use the large storage space for all your coats and shoes. Walk through the large dining room with extended dining table seating 8 (new chairs). Off the dining room is a WC and ground floor bedroom (double bed) - ideal for multi generational family holidays.

The other door leads to a large kitchen and lounge area with all the appliances you'll expect for a self-catering break including a large fridge / freezer and spacious lounge / seating area.

The lounge area benefits from new sofas and armchair - ideal for movie nights.

The large kitchen / lounge to the rear of the property has French doors leading to a patio with BBQ area. The lounge area has a corner leather sofa and SMART TV.

Upstairs, the master bedroom (king) has an en-suite shower room with rainfall shower. There is a further king size bedroom and a twin-bedded room. The family bathroom has a bath and overhead rainfall shower. Central heating throughout.

Parking is available directly outside the back door.

Jolly Roger Cottage is a large pet friendly house and is ideal for a large family with space for 2 dogs!

Fabulous place to stay Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington close destination to get to. Fabulous time with family and the weather was perfect

A lovely family break in a quiet area of the Bay with plenty to do locally for everyone.

The Jolly Roger cottage was warm and welcoming. Access to the beach was a bonus for us all, but especially the grandchildren. We all enjoyed the swimming pool.

Lovely property

Lovely property. Only reason for 4 stars was that there were old balloons under furniture in living room where it clearly hasn't been cleaned. Also the double bed downstairs has damaged slats that were had to repair and was very creaky so barely slept

Cleanliness

Dirty pots in cupboard due to dishwasher not working, dirty oven, lots of flies and cushions covered in dog hairs.

Hi - thanks for your review. We have been and looked at the property since your stay and the dishwasher is working fine? In addition, we do state really clearly in our T&C that if there are any issues on arrival you MUST report these to us so we can rectify these - you will see from our hundreds of other reviews that we pride ourselves on the cleanliness and responsiveness and are known for replacing and repairing faulty items within an hour in some cases. We will always come out and make things right and offer goodwill gestures if we are at fault - we cant do this when we don't have the opportunity to make things right.
