Superbe Cottage avec balcon et vue sur la mer

Sandy Shores est proche du chemin de la plage et dispose d'un balcon et de fauteuils pour profiter de la magnifique vue sur la mer. Chambre 1 avec lit king-size, chambre 2 avec un lit zip & link pouvant être aménagé en lit jumeau ou lit king-size supplémentaire. Les deux chambres ont ensuites. Plan ouvert salon / salle à manger / cuisine avec Smart TV. Téléviseurs dans les chambres. Patio, pelouse et stationnement à l'arrière. Brûleur à bois rend ce chalet chaleureux et confortable pour les pauses toute l'année.

A real home from home

I would definitely recommend and stay again. The house had everything you needed and was in a prefect position for the beach.

Lovely stay at sandy shores

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a lovely stay at Sandy Shores Cottage! The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable — it really felt like a home away from home. The beds were super cosy, and we loved relaxing in the living room after long walks on the beach. Our dogs absolutely loved it too — plenty of space for them to settle and a perfect location for coastal walks. It’s so nice to find somewhere that’s genuinely dog-friendly and still feels luxurious. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

Excellent cottage.

A real home from home that had everything we needed. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and relax and the cottage was in a good spot ideal for the beach with its own parking. We had a lovely stay and will definitely book again.

Fantastic holiday

We stayed at Sandy Shores for four nights and enjoyed every minute. It did help that the weather was warm and sunny and were able to make full use of the balcony which has a lovely view of Filey bay. The house is lovely and clean and we felt well catered for. Thank you.

Great Christmas and New Year

We stayed at Sandy Shores for 10 days over Christmas and New Year with our small dog. We was quite surprised to learn our stay was the last before a full refurbishment. We have stayed in at least 7 other properties on the Bay at Filey, Sandy Shores was definately up there as one of the best even in its current condition. We loved our stay, it was home from home, super cozy and warm with everything we needed to chill and enjoy the festive period. Special thanks to Mark, Becky and Teddy for the most beautiful hand chosen tasty 'Yorkshire' hamper, we all loved it. We will keep an eye out on the refurb and be sure to book again.

Excellent stay

Short stay with family of 3 and the dog. Excellent location close to the beach, perfect for gym, pool and pub. Fully equipped, balcony great as we had good weather, no issues whatsoever. Host was great, kept in touch and helped with any clarifications. Overall great stay for our small party.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location.

We had a wonderful few days at Sandy Shores. The house is clean, comfortable and warm, which was really welcome after a day out exploring the area. Equipped with everything we needed for a lovely stay. The site is absolutely spotless and beach is just a few minutes walk away from the property. What more could you want? We will definitely be back.

Nice and easy break

Second time visiting Sandy Shores and good to know you can trust the accommodation to be everything you need for a stress free break. Weather was poor so we enjoyed the Filey Bay distillery visit and the pie pub. Had a nice meal in the Jon Paul restaurant on site and the on site swimming pool was also handy! When the weather cleared we enjoyed Sewerby Park and Bempton Cliffs.

Clean house in a good location

We had a great stay in this well maintained, clean house in an excellent location. We are a couple with a child and a dog, and the house was a good size for us, with plenty of space. We had a problem which was sorted quickly over text, Paula was very accessible and provided excellent customer service. We hope to return soon.

Great stay

We’ve just had a week at Sandy Shores, had a fantastic week & we were expecting to spend more time in the house than we did but the weather was amazing every day so we were out most of the time! It’s a beautiful property & one of my favourites - we’ve been to The Bay lots of times. A great location, clean, comfortable & I would definitely return. Unfortunately we have to visit in school holiday time which of course is maximum price, but it was worth it! Great communication from FBD, will definitely use them again.

Very nice

A very nice stay and great location very close to the beach and on site park for our kids which was great ! Enjoyed the stay as a family and found everything great. Only issue we had was that we had some gone off milk left in the fridge bottle to be fair was unopened but had just been out of a fridge for a while and the kitchen had not been cleaned fully but overall the cottage was brilliant and a good stay ! Thanks

Nice comfy break

We enjoyed our break at Sandy Shores. The location can overlook the sea and is 10 mins walk away to the beach. We have a one year old baby who is crawling so hygiene is very important to us. Kenny went out of his way to ensure it’s thoroughly cleaned before our arrival and we have everything we need for a happy holiday. I would recommend Sandy Shores.

Overall good

Two things to remedy: 1) Strong smell of residual cigarette smoke. 2) The fixed TV is impossible to view from the total seating area. A swinging arm mounting bracket is needed.

Fabulous cottage

We recently had a weekend break at Sandy Shores. The cottage is in a perfect location, only seconds from the path to the beach and a couple of minutes from the facilities, close enough for convenience but far away enough not to be disturbed by everyone using them. The Balcony is a fabulous addition and we were fortunate enough to enjoy a stunning february day so took advantage and sat out enjoying the view with a cup of tea. We’ve stayed at The Bay a number of times over the past 6 years at various cottages and this was our first time at Sandy Shores and definitely not the last! The cottage was immaculate and well cared for, definitely our favourite by some distance.

Better than expected

The cottage was spacious, clean, close to the beach, and had all necessary utilities and equipment. It has been the first time we had been to the beach in Filey, wanted to check out the area. If you like the location and walking your dog on the beach or meeting other dog owners in the pub on site then I can definitely recommend this cottage as the place to stay. We encountered one minor issue with the heating (late autumn stay and arrived on a cold day) - that had been sorted out very promptly by the owner, thank you.

Sandy Shores

We had a lovely stay at Sandy Shores. It was our 4th stay at the Bay and this was definitely the best house and location. The house has just been renovated to a very high standard and everything felt brand new and clean . We would definitely stay there again. We particularly appreciated the air fryer and the Nespresso coffee machine and enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning sun.

Fantastic break

A brilliant property in a fantastic location. A few seconds walk to the coastal path for a walk on the beach. Views of the sea from the downstairs windows and a lovely balcony to sit on in the evening having a glass of wine. Very well equipped property. We will definitely be rebooking Sandy Shores for another break in the near future.

Sandy Shores

House is a lovely home from home equipped with everything you need. Great spot close to the beach. Beach is really beautiful. Balcony is great for the morning sun but this and the terrace don’t get the sun later in the day. Didn’t get to use any of the facilities on site as still closed so would have been better value if these were open.

Thanks for the review. Due to covid-19 restrictions at the time, all pools & gyms in England were closed in early July, but the amenities have been open daily as soon as the UK government said they could be.
