17th century converted barn in Cotswolds stone- 5 mins from Bourton On The Water
This dog friendly property is a recently converted mid 17th century grain barn that sleeps up to 6. It has two double rooms but has a delightful shepherds hut that provides a further bed and facilities . The Barn has many of the original beams and features and is in a quiet village very near to all the amenities of the famous town of Bourton On The Water. The Barn has all the facilities you need - wifi, tvs in each room, a well equiped kitchen, bbq, hairdryers, car charger and a log burner to cosy in on colder evenings . Have a little stroll around our garden and help yourself to the apples from our small but beautiful orchard. Whilst Clapton On The Hill is in a small hamlet providing you with peace and quiet, it is only minutes away from âthe venice of the Cotswoldsâ and a short drive to other popular towns such as Burford and Stow. There are plenty of beautiful country pubs to try in the surrounding villages.
A beautiful converted barn in lovely, quiet surroundings away from the madding crowds of Bourton and Stow. Janey was also very quick to respond to any minor queries we had before and during our arrival. Beds very comfortable!
The whole house is immaculate. Superb location to experience the local area. Host was very informative and helpful. The little welcome gift was a lovely suprise I would recomend this to anyone who wants to explore the cotswolds. Perfect
Great location for getting around the Cotswolds.A little misleading saying there are three bedrooms when one of the bedrooms is in a mini camper outside the house.Lovely quiet neighborhood
We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. Almost perfect! Would have liked a lock on the upstairs bathroom door, but other than that it was fabulous!
A lovely property in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds. Very well appointed and a fabulous garden.Everything you need for a peaceful stay. Highly recommended.
The cottage is warm and comfortable and its proximity to Bourton a definite plus. The only reason I put good instead of excellent is because the beds are not king sized as listed (as far as an American king - perhaps UK sizing is different) and although a dryer is listed as an amenity, there is only a washer w/ drying line
Janeyâs home is exceptional. She was very quick to respond to questions and made every effort to address our needs. We loved having modern amenities with all the charm of this converted barn in a small village. The property includes a small apple orchard, lovely garden and patio with table and chairs. My 19 year old son loved the privacy he got in the shepherdâs hut located next to the main house-(double bed with a sink/ toilet separated from the bedroom area by a curtain). The location was an ideal for exploring the Cotswolds. The New Inn in neighboring Coln St. Aldwyns was an outstanding find for delicious, creative food and friendly staff. We spent 5 days and easily could have spent more time.
We travelled as a family group of 5 adults. Such a beautiful place to stay and a good base for exploring the area. The Barn had everything we needed and was clean and warm with comfortable beds! Thank you a wonderful break and we would highly recommend.
We have a lovely stay at the Barn. Contrary to a previous review, we found it to be very clean and comfortable. It is set in a pittoresque and quiet hamlet, yet close to towns and attractions.
We had a lovely stay at janeyâa place, location is great, quiet, also close to burton on the water. Place is spacious, clean, very stylist. janey Is also very responsive and helpful. This is our second time staying here and we will come back again!
Brilliant stay in a beautifully kept converted barn. It could do with a bit of a deep clean but overall a great stay in a great location to explore some beautiful places. Thank you!
