We so enjoyed our stay here! It was perfect for our needs - clean and cozy, near the center, in a beautiful neighborhood, and surrounded by wonderful places for food and drink. The neighborhood does have lots of nightlife, so this place is perfect for those that enjoy a lively evening.
Our host was very welcoming and helpful. There was a small problem with the AC functioning, but CleanBnB was extremely responsive when we reached out and got it taken care of immediately. Overall a great stay, highly recommend!
Good location in Rome. Interesting old, narrow winding streets. Noise level from bar goers loud at night , making sleep difficult to impossible. Would not recommend.
This was a great place for my husband and I for a few days in Trastevere. The location was perfect and there are countless restaurants in the area. We were able to wash clothes while we were there and the check in process was simple and easy!
There was some confusion before our stay as I was contacted to pay the company directly outside of the VRBO app. However, it all worked out fine.
the pros: great hosts, clean apartment, AMAZING location near many bars, clubs, transportation. easy to get to from train station. comfy bed, nice couch, good wifi
the cons: it's truly a dungeon. there are some windows but no natural light. the noise at night can be bothersome for light sleepers. the shower only had half of a door (but they provided many nice towels)
overall - someone who values location, goes out a lot, doesn't really care about noise - it was a great stay. if you're looking for a peaceful quiet stay, I would not recommend that for you. I had a great time though!
I was nervous to book this room because of what the pictures showed OUTSIDE of the room. I saw spraypainted walls and military around. However, what we saw in person was PERFECT. This residence is in the BEST location in Trastevere. The host (Antoinette) met us and she was just amazing. We loved her. The room was perfect. The kitchen was perfect. The bathroom was perfect. The livingroom was perfect.
The graffiti on the buildings was everywhere in the city, but we recognized that it didn't equate to grafitti in the US. It almost gave Trastevere its charm.
I will be staying here again, no questions asked
