Great location, charming interior, authentic experience. Right in the heart of Alfama. No AC but the fan was perfect pointed at the bed. Would totally stay again.

The apartment was clean and as pictured. A note that like many apartments in Alfama, there are cobblestones and stairs so be mindful with luggage. The bathroom is also small but was fine for myself and mother. The location is a very convenient and beautiful fado music drifts in on weekends. There is not AC but the host has a powerful fan!

Short winter city break

Lovely compact apartment with everything you need for your stay. In the midst of the old town so well located if that's the part of town you want to immerse yourself in. Everything in easy walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was great! Check in was seamless and we didn’t need any extra help. Felt very safe there as well! Fado music right outside the window you can listen to from the couch with the windows open! Quiet at night when the bars/restaurants close, which in that area is fairly early. By 11pm or so. The only thing we didn’t like was the bathroom and shower is VERY small but that seems standard for those apartments, likely something we just aren’t used to. Overall recommend. LOTS of steps to leave Alfama but easy and cheap Uber to other areas if you don’t feel like walking. The pickup spot is a 2 minute walk from the apartment and to get to the other districts of main Lisbon the uber was always around 5. There’s also a great coffee shop right next door called The Coffee that we stopped in almost every morning. Overall recommend and only gave it a 4 star because the bathroom is very small and hard to maneuver around in. They have a nice powerful fan that helped with no AC.

The location of the apartment was great and walking distance to major attractions and gathering, but the property has following limitations: 1. The picture and photos of the property attached in a way that it was difficult to understand the configuration of inside layout. 2. We were booked for two persons to stay but the sofa bed was not prepared with linen and others. 3. The property has an old age smell inside. 4. There is so seal at of the bottom of The shower door and water leak off on the floor during shower make the floor slippery and hazardous for trip. 5. The water temperature at the faucet sometimes goes high and we had flash in skin twice. 6. The electric panel trip off even if we try to use microwave and electric oven together. Unable to use the and one of the electric appliances due to overloading of the circuit breaker. The property was cleaner but shortage of the toiletries for first day was observed. 7. The front door lock was nightmare to open and shut. But with all the limitations we enjoyed the property and staffs were helpful during stay.
