À propos de cet hébergement
Studio-Standard-Salle de bain privée séparée-Vue sur Rue
This Studio apartment with parking is bright, contemporary and a convenient space to relax in or retreat to after a busy day sightseeing or visiting loved ones. This apartment has electric comfort heating. There is a bathroom with a walk in spacious shower. The kitchen and dining area are well equipped and include a washing machine.
This studio apartment is perfectly located. In one direction, its just a few minutes walk to Folkestone Harbour and the wonderful Harbour Arm which offers unrivalled views of the fishing harbour and the wider coastline, including the famous White Cliffs. Take in the invigorating sea air while visiting the Local businesses that have become well established along the pier offering choices from champagne to gourmet coffee, Greek mezze to hand-stretched sourdough pizzas. Regular live music features bands and musicians from Kent and there are seasonal special events at intervals throughout the year.
And in the other direction, just a few minutes walk to the East Cliff and Warren Country Park. Rich in wildlife and offering views of the famous White Cliffs, East Cliff and Warren Country Park is a dramatic landscape formed by landslides just outside of Folkestone.
Of national importance both for wildlife and its geology, it is protected as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and as a Local Nature Reserve.
The side of the park closest to the town centre features wide open lawns overlooking the cliffs with a playground, bowls club and Pitch & Putt golf course, all watched over by three Napoleonic-era Martello Towers.
Venture further east, however, and 200 years of landslides have created a steep, pockmarked landscape called The Warren covered in thick vegetation leading down to the sea below the cliffs. A series of relatively arduous walks maintained by the White Cliffs Countryside Project lead you along the coast, including the Four Seasons Walk, which has a series of interpretation panels showing the effect of the seasons on wildlife.

Chalk grassland wildflowers grow alongside woodland plants here, while the sea air promotes the growth of rock sea lavender, wild cabbage and rock samphire. Around 150 different species of birds can be found in the Warren.
