It is an area of picturesque farms and rural landscapes and the views from the property are stunning and far reaching. The stable has been thoughtfully converted into a small but comfortable retreat for couples or solo travellers and offers a cosy open plan living space which includes a seating, dining and well equipped kitchen area. There is a separate king size bedroom and en-suite shower room which completes the package. The property is located on a smallholding where there is a livery yard, chickens, ducks and lambs. Fresh eggs are available to guests when the hens oblige! This area is perfect for nature lovers, walkers and cyclists, with miles of footpaths from the doorstep. There are walks and cycle routes to enjoy from the doorstep including the North Downs Way. The the beautiful city of Canterbury, 8 miles away, where you can bring your bikes and travel round one of the cycle trails or try the Great Stour Way. Visit the Cathedral and Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales or explore the restaurants, bars and shops. Close by are the iconic white cliffs at Dover or visit Dover Castle. Animal lovers should visit the Port Lympne animal safari park or Howletts, where you can see the African elephants and monkeys in an open topped enclosure. Spend a day at Hythe or Dymchurch if you prefer a sandy beach. There are rail connections from Westerhangar to London for further sightseeing opportunities. Trout fishing and golf can be found locally, and The local pub, "The Tiger" has recently won the "Best Pub in Kent Award!"
