Perfect for us as a retired couple!!! We were fortunate to have been led to this quaint Cope Cod cottage condo. It was well organized with everything we needed. With both a drip coffee maker and a Kerig too. We drove our bikes to the beach numerous times and it was very fun! Thacker Beach is close by and and it's free if you walk in or bike. We drove to Provincetown and went on a whale watch and saw 34 whales which was amazing. Michael the host was great and he went out of his way for us so to have a special time with our family close by.
Our family had a wonderful stay in this cozy cottage. Everything was clean and updated, and it was very comfortable. Great location, and Mike was extremely responsive and helpful.
We had a wonderful time staying here. Very close to everything including the beach. Everything was very clean and Mike is a great host! Will definitely go back!
My family of 3 had a wonderful time at this lovely cottage. Beautifully decorated and great location on the Cape. Great beaches just a short drive down the road including one with a playground that our five year old loved. Mike was so responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!
Very good . Silent air-conditioning a definite winner. I would strongly suggest changing the curtain to the patio-door to something more opaque ( black out curtain ) . We very much appreciated that 5 Thatcher Road was in a pleasant and quiet neighborhood . Overall our stay was very agreable . Thankyou .
I recently stayed at a condo in South Yarmouth and had a wonderful experience. While the cottage is a bit dated compared to the pictures, it was still clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The furniture and decor may show some signs of age, but it added a bit of charm to the place.
The location was excellentâjust a short drive to the beach and conveniently close to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed peaceful mornings on the patio, a wonderful spot for coffee and taking in the surroundings. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions, making the check-in and check-out easy.
Overall, this condo is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a cozy and affordable place to stay in Cape Cod. Despite being a little dated, it was a comfortable home base for our trip, and I would consider staying here again.
Mike's cottage is clean, cozy and conveniently located near pretty much everything in Yarmouth! The neighborhood was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that the condo was tastefully decorated. One thing I want to note is how accommodating Mike was with checking-in. We had a family wedding that my kids were part of and asked if we could drop off our luggage and things early and Mike was great with letting us know when the other renters left and that we were free to do so. This saved us the headache and hassle of having to unload our cars so late in the evening. Thanks again Mike!
The house was smaller than anticipated. We didnât realize that itâs basically half of a small house. Although we didnât spend much time at the house, it was a bit cramped for 3 adults.
The location of property was good. Centrally located and jet quiet. Would recommend having exterminator come in saw ants in bathroom and bedroom and lots of spiders.
Condo appears as advertised. Itâs completely adorable and perfect for a small group in a great neighborhood. Had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
This property is a little gem! My husband and I loved the simplicity of staying in a smaller space. We were able to enjoy our coffee and breakfast on the small back patio, prepare our lunches for the beach and few evening meals at home, The condoâs location is just a short trip to anywhere you might want to visit on the Cape. The Bass River Farm Market is a great first stop on Saturday morning. Thanks to Mikeâs suggestion, we enjoyed several days at the beach at the end of the road which offered free parking.
Mike is a very attentive homeowner and wonderful host! My husband and I plan to return next summer,
Cottage is adorable and clean. 1 mile walk to beach and can walk to restaurants and stores. Great location for driving to other Cape activities and towns.
We really enjoyed our stay at Mike's cottage. He was a kind and thorough communicator regarding the check-in process and what we needed to provide ourselves due to traveling during the pandemic. It is located in a nice neighborhood close to a main street within one of the many lovely towns within the Cape. It is perfect for 2 to 3 travelers. The living room comfortably seats 3 people, so it was a bit crowded when our son and daughter-in-law joined us for a couple of days. Otherwise, it was a wonderful home-base as we traveled up and down the Cape by car and bike. We can highly recommend it!
We called it cozy cottage. It is really small for 4 adults.
The main thing is there is really only comfortable seating for 3 people in living room could use another loveseat instead of a chair.
Location was good.
Host replied quickly and took care of us.
We spent last week at Mike's cottage. Everything was just lovely. Mike was an outstanding host. He detailed everything that we needed to know prior to our arrival in order to make our stay comfortable. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. For example, the refrigerator was humming and disturbing my mom's sleep. I texted him about it once and the same day he came over and replaced the humming refrigerator with a new one! The cottage itself is cozy and inviting. We were comfortable in the beds and the mattresses were fine. There is a free beach, (most are $20 to park) down the road and we enjoyed this beach immensely. There are many park benches along to beach to sit and enjoy the view or the sea air. Mike's cottage is a great jumping off point for many areas on the Cape. We felt centrally located to all the spots one would want to visit. We had a wonderful week staying here. Do not hesitate to book. Thanks, Mike!
As a child, I spent every summer at the Cape. There's a certain feeling that comes over you when you cross that bridge and are officially "on cape". Last fall I took the plunge and moved to the Cape permanently. West Yarmouth is now my home.
