Two bedroom apartment for rent in Florence a stone\'s throw from the central station of Santa Maria Novella. The apartment is located on the third floor with no lift of a building in Via dei Canacci, a quiet street with little traffic.
The house enjoys a good division of spaces with a clear distinction between the living area and the sleeping area. The living area is divided between the living room with sofa bed and TV, and a lovely well-equipped kitchen. In the sleeping area we find two double bedrooms; one with a bunk bed and one with a double bed. The property includes a bathroom with shower and a small terrace. This is a spacious apartment ideal for both a family and a group of friends visiting the city. The house is rented both for short periods (tourist rentals) and for longer stays. Guests will have access to Wi-Fi internet, air conditioning, washing machine and the necessary appliances for cooking.
Overall, this place was good for our stay. As commented by others, there are a lot of stairs. So it was a pain to carry up the suitcases. The communication was great and it was clean. Beds were comfortable and it was very close to the train station which made traveling easy.

Okay
Location was good as we could walk most places from the apartment. Apartment was not ready at check in, even though it was after checkin time and manager was given plenty of notice on arrival time. Overall this place was ok.Strange layout and didnt feel as clean as it should have been. It is advertised but to warn, there is a lot of steps to get to this apartment and up a windy dim staircase.
This apartment was a great location right by all the other hotels in the middle of Florence. The host was also great at responding. The only bad thing about this apartment is the hike up all the stairs, so just prepare yourself.
The property is decent but a few little touches would have made it better...- We arrived early and were very kindly let straight into our apartment, however it was not properly cleaned and the bin was still full- The top bed of the bunk is completely unusable due to no side on the bed, very dangerous for anyone to stay on the top bunk- Kitchen is distinctly lacking in accessories, especially with no plug or cleaning cloth for washing upThe location is very good in regard to walking to the main sights and the train station but be aware the flat is up three flights of stairs.
We stayed at the apartment for 3 nights, the place was clean and tidy and the nicest place we stayed during our trip to Italy. Having access to a washing machine while traveling and being close to Florence train station was great. Communication with the host was also very good.
The place is as described and nice. Beds were comfortable and AC worked GREAT. You have to walk-up many concrete stairs which was not an issue for my family and it helped to work off all the good food we ate. The location is perfect! There are not a lot of extras and the place was strictly used by my family to sleep which worked out perfect. communication, check-in/out was great!
The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. It was a 10 minute walk to all the sites. However, it was not the condo I chose. Due to circumstances we were given this one. A kettle and toaster would have been useful.
The location was okay, close to train station made it easy for travel. The checkin process could have been better. No instruction on how to use the air-conditioning or door. The air conditioning could have been turned on for us during arrival. Could not operate air conditioning so first night was very uncomfortable. I will say the owner took care of it immediately . This made the second day much better. Thanks for the stay.
The apartment is nice enough, in an ok neighborhood, but our experience with the property owners was pretty scattered. This is property is owned by a corporation and we dealt with four different people who didn't seem to communicate. Just after the check in, we discovered that there was no toilet paper. We wrote the lady who did the check in and never heard back. We wrote the evening support number and were told, "sorry, we don't have any right now." We had to buy our own. The next day, we discovered that there was no wine opener which is a pretty big oversight in Italy. Again, there was no response and we had to buy our own. No personal touches here. It felt like the apartment designer hadn't ever lived there.
The apartment itself was lovely, had good wifi, was comfortable for a family and is pretty close to main attractions.
Apartment was fine. Two bedrooms, one with a large bed, one with twin bunks. Sofa pulls out into a bed. Didnât really use kitchen.
Check in could have gone better. I texted them early that morning that we would be arriving by train at 10:15 and we would walk to apartment (10min max). We found apartment and then I saw a text from 10:10 that someone would be there at 11:00. OKâŠ..so we waited in the alley/street. 11:20 someone finally showed up, unapologetic and not even very friendly. She didnât really know how the heater worked for sure and the Wi-Fi password was âsomewhereâ.
We noticed significant locks on the front door (that should have been a clue) and later in the day we went back to the apartment and my son was saying there was a riot outside. We didnât pay much attention but sure enough, a few minutes later, a full on police chase with about a dozen people went down the alley. Lucky it didnât happen when we were standing there for almost an hour.
After dinner, walking back, there was suspicious people and open drug use going on in the alley. We triple checked the doors that night. At midnight, a fight in the alley and then cheering when there was a winner. Yelling in the night, bras in the street the next morning. My husband was up in the middle of the night reading about how this neighborhood was not the best.I wish we had known. We were glad we only stayed one night.
The apartment itself was fine, just the check in and the area around was not good.
Great location a couple of blocks from the train station!
It was very easy to walk our suitcases over to this property, and then to walk from there to anywhere in downtown Florence. The bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen were nicely appointed, and everything was clean and usable. Air Conditioning throughout, which kept us comfortable in the Tuscany humidity
We did miss having an elevator in the property when we first arrived--schlepping our suitcases up pretty steep stairs to the top floor in the summer humidity was sweaty work. Doing the stairs without suitcases after we checked in was much easier though.
