Apartment was just as pictured, property manager was friendly and responsive to our questions. We rented it for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood. It was walkable to just about all the big sights in Rome. Kitchen gave us the option for eating meals in when we chose to. Washing machine came in handy for our longer trip and the large foldable drying rack for our clothes worked well. Highly recommend this apartment for a short or long stay!
Location was wonderful!
Communication was good and Sabrina was very helpful i arranging a transfer/car for pickup at the port after our cruise to our stay in Rome. She also helped arrange our ride upon departure to the airport on our last day.
Our stay at Sabrinaâs place was fantastic. The location was outstanding as we had shops at restaurants at our doorstep. Sabrina went beyond our expectations in helping us find transportation and guidance to settle into the apartment. Everthing was so seemless! We couldnât have had a better stay we were incredibly comfortable in her beautifully appointed apartment. We will be sure to stay again!
Disclosure: we know Rome, we know this neighborhood, and we speak Italian. The apartment is exactly as described, and would be ideal for a shorter stay (we stayed for 30 days). The kitchen is very well equipped.
Our problem was with the TV: you can only watch it if you sit in front of it and don't do anything else. Our routine is to watch TV during breakfast (news, weather...) and during cooking, and that did not work. The bedroom is wired for a TV, but no TV. WiFi was very reliable.
Sabrina was incredibly responsive, all it took to get something done was a simple SMS. And, the advertised 3pm check-in notwithstanding, she was there to let us in at 10 in the morning.
We have spent a month in Rome every year for the last 10-15 years, till Covid put an end to that. Until now, we never encountered prices like this. For a basic apartment like this we paid 40% more than we did for a luxury apartment in 2020. At this rate we will not be able to afford a return!
Apartment is in a great location, next to a wide variety of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc. It is within 10-15 minute walk to many tourist sights. Very lively area, but because the apartment faces an internal courtyard, none of the street noise reached us. However the apartment is far from soundproof so one can hear your neighbors: there are chickens or birds that cluck throughout the day/night, and the there are stairs directly outside the bedroom window to some adjacent apartments. Nevertheless we slept fairly well despite being light sleepers.
Notes about amenities during our stay: Nice kitchen. There is a large convection-microwave oven. Decent size refrigerator with a separate freezer. Plenty of cookware and dishware. There was a portable floor AC unit in the living room, and a washer/dryer under the kitchen counter. There was an electric kettle and coffee-maker.
The apartment is up 2 flights of stairs. In the apartment, the living area and kitchen is above the bedroom up moderately steep stairs. The double bed is quite firm; we suggest a mattress topper would help those who prefer a softer mattress. During our visit, the shower head was badly leaking and needs to be replaced. The toilet flush valves are sticking and needs some maintenance attention.
Overall we had a very comfortable stay and were happy with this apartment and location. Communication with the host was prompt and easy through VRBO messaging.
The apartment was nice and we unjoyed the upstairs living room and kitchen area. It is very quite as it is in the inter of a building. The living Room and kitchen have windows facing the court yard. We are coming back to Rome and the host was very nice in accommodating us by holding our excess luggage.
