Relax al Poggio

Our house is an old stone-built farmhouse, surrounded by fields with olives and fruit trees and woodland, in a magical atmosphere, overlooking the lovely village of Pietrabuona.
The guests will have at their disposal an apartment for exclusive use made up of kitchen, bathroom and sleeping room, furnished in rustic Tuscan style.
The guests can also enjoy the outside part of the house having a rest in the fenced garden overlooking the valley or by the private pool located between the olive trees.
We would be pleased to help you to discover this unusual piece of Tuscany, showing you the local traditions, we are also available to accompany you in trekking trails in our woods.
We are close to the most important art cities of Tuscany (1h from Florence, Pisa and the sea of Versilia, 45mins from Lucca) and in the area you can visit the old medieval villages of Montecarlo, Montecatini Alto, Collodi,Vinci and the "dieci castella" of the Svizzera Pesciatina.We are 20 mins from the town of Pescia, where you can find all the facilities (train/bus station, markets, banks, restaurants, pharmacies etc..)
The local village of Pietrabuona is a 10 minute walk by footpath and you can find there a pharmacy, two bars, a restaurant, the post office and a grocery strore.
You will have the opportunity to visit an "alternative" Tuscany: a place between hills and moutains, full of olive trees, chestnut trees, oaks and acacias. Into this unspoiled landscape are embedded like precious stones ten medieval and fortified villages called "castella".
