Elegantly decorated spacious home. This property can accommodate 5 people, in 2 bedrooms and a living room sofa.

The living space is nicely decorated with great attention to the detail, creating an ideal atmosphere to lay down on the comfortable sofa and watch a movie or your favourite TV show. The dining table is suitable to serve up to 6 people to enjoy their leisurely meals. The kitchen is fully fitted with electric appliances like oven, stove, microwave, and a fridge/freezer and fully equipped with utensils for those who wish to cook. There is also a combined washer and dryer machine.

Your health is our priority. Our home follows an enhanced cleaning protocol, with a professional cleaning and strategic disinfection.

## Access

The house number is 8a. You will get your passcode for the keypad 24 to 48 hours in advance.

Guests have access to the entire home all to themselves. Garden is private for your sole use.

## Neighborhood

This property is situated in an ideal location in Chelsea, not far from the iconic Kings Road and the Thames River. There are a variety of dining options in the area, including the famous Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. A 5 minute walk will take you to King's Road, where you can find a row of shops and restaurants to explore.

If you're craving a home cooked meal, Sainburys is only a 30 second walk from the property! Perfect to pick up some fresh groceries and a few snacks!

## Transit

The home is only a few minutes walk to Earls Court Station to the north, the Fulham Road, with fantastic travel links, is one block south. The number 14 bus stop is close, in front of the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital (other side from it - you will want to head east) and it will take you all around the best bits to the centre of London. Through Knightsbridge, Hyde Park, to Covent Garden and the British Museaum. Ubers, buses and taxis are all readily available, a great alternative to explore the city! So much to see on foot. You can walk around beautiful Chelsea and South Kensington for days and never be bored, or cross the river to Battersea Park’s huge green space.

This is a self-check-in property and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check-in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard earliest check-in time (15:00 on the day).

Please note this is a lower ground home with a private entrance. Door number 8A. The grey front door has the words “The Basement Flat” on it. So that’s building number 8 and the lowest level flat. 8a. Down the steps at the front of the house.

Located in an area with many restaurants. To an underground train walk was 15 minutes. Though we walked to many places. Overall a great place to stay.

This was an exceptional property and Frances could not have been more helpful and gracious. The home was so spacious and provisioned with everything you could possibly need. Christmas Holiday

My son and I spent 10 wonderful days in London for a long promised graduation trip into history using this lovely flat as our home base. Everything you need is there to make a home away from home including a shop at the corner There are two tube stations within 10-15 minutes walk but we found Earls Court to be the one we used most and the walk to get there the nicest and easiest for luggage. Great access to double decker bus transport as well. Lots of great restaurants and coffee shops just up Fulham Road.as well and if you are there during football. season you can hear the chants from Stanford Brudge M. We loved it and would love to return.

Great place to stay

We had an amazing time in London, and staying at this flat. Great location to rail service for ease of getting around. The owner was very responsive and went above and beyond to meet all needs. Even with things that happened out of her control she went the extra mile to take care of us. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

A perfect choice!

We were giving our grandsons a week in London so needed the luxury if 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The space was more than comfortable, incredibly well equipped. Public buses at the corner, small hrocery and restaurants down the block. Heat worked well. Lots of hot water. Thank you Frances for it all.

Don’t Miss out on this property

The location couldn’t be better with easy access to buses and tube lines. The house was immaculate with every detail, taken care of down to power converters for plugs. The host is the best. So attentive but not overbearing. I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to London

Location Location Location

The title says it all! This property is located in the most ideal spot to tour London
..The access to the Buses and Tube are very near to the rental
..we used both modes when touring London. The Rental itself was spotless, functionally and comfortably furnished with all the amenities with ample room. Perhaps the only item that needs to be addressed for clarification is the challenging cement staircase from street level to the lower level entrance. Carting luggage down the stairs was easy..but a bit of a workout carting the luggage up the stairs! 

Now 
the unspoken jewel are the most wonderful Hosts Vicki and Frances! Always available and honestly cared about our stay. We slept well knowing there was Vicki and Frances tending to our needs!
.as an added bonus for those who are Football Fans (soccer as we say)
.The Premier League Chelsea FC home stadium
Stamford Bridge 
..is located about a 5 minute walk away! Game day is a street celebration not to be missed! 

Needless to say, I recommend this property to you!

Disappointing - Listing is misleading and property needs work

Based on the photos and info in the listing, we were excited to spend 6 nights in this “Spacious Chelsea Apartment with private garden.” The moment we walked in, it was clear the pictures on the listing were staged a long time ago and some (like the bathroom) were not even what you will find in the apartment. It was not “elegantly decorated” as stated in the listing. The first issue was there was no toilet paper. The owner was responsive when we let her know, but told us we would have to go purchase our own and she would have some shipped the next day. The “private garden” was a mess. It is not grass (which we didn’t have a problem with) but there was trash throughout the garden (including a dirty sock), weeds growing everywhere, the chairs were rickety and had bird poop on them. We had no desire to sit out there (and it would have been nice to sit outside sometimes). The front room bathroom looks nothing like what is in the picture except for the size. There is a shower head, toilet and small sink in the room with nothing separating the shower from anything else. When you take a shower it is VERY slippery and then everything else gets (and stays wet). There is mold in the corners and the door doesn’t close. The lid of the toilet seat was broken off and the seat was loose. ‹‹The other bathroom is a tub with a hand held wand and also very slippery to try to get in and out of. A rubber bath mat would have been helpful. ‹‹The cupboards and drawers were full of clutter. ‹Some of the dishes were dirty. ‹There were no kitchen towels or paper towels. ‹The washing machine area was crammed with stuff and the washing machine itself, was dirty. ‹ We found 2 crumpled pieces of paper with basic welcome instructions, but we found it by accident under a stack of unopened mail when we were trying to find the router so we would get the wi-fi password off the back. And the wi-fi did not reach to the front bedroom. The one good thing were the beds, linens and bath towels were clean. The owner was responsive, like when we called to let her know we couldn’t get in on the first day because she realized she gave us the wrong address in her welcome email. And she responded quickly when we came home one day to find water leaking from the ceiling saying she would have someone out the next day to look at it (it was good that we were leaving that next day). We made due with what was there, but it was disappointing. We don't recommend staying here.

What a beautiful and large flat!

We loved staying here except for one problem which was that the WiFi signal didn’t make it to the front bedroom despite a range extender. Everything else about this flat was spot on accurate. We had a lot of fun with the record player in the morning! Great neighborhood with plenty of good places to eat literally around the corner, lots of supermarkets and chemists nearby. There is some daytime traffic noise but nothing unusual for London. Pretty quiet at night. 10 minute walk to the earls court tube station and about a leisurely 20 minute stroll to Kings Road and into Sloane square and all kinds of connections to greater London. This was a great find on vrbo! If it’s available, do not hesitate to book.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung

Eine tolle geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung, die mit vielen nĂŒtzlichen Sachen ausgestattet ist. Sogar Eurostecker, Toilettenpapier und Duschgel stand zur VerfĂŒgung. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin klappte super. Frische Blumen und extrem tolle Betten haben uns dort sehr wohlfĂŒhlen lassen. Leider lassen sich alle TĂŒren schwierig schließen. Der Garten ist etwas vernachlĂ€ssigt (Laub und Unkraut) aber wir waren meistens unterwegs. In zwei Minuten ist man zum kleinen Supermarkt gelaufen, der 24 Std. offen ist. Die Bushaltestellen direkt vor der TĂŒr und super Umsteigemöglichkeiten zur Unterground sorgten dafĂŒr, dass wir in 30 Minuten direkt im Zentrum standen.

Not as advertised basement flat poor quality

This property is located on a busy 2 lane oneway street, expect to hear car noise constantly and car alarms going off at night. It is in fact a Basement apartment not ground floor or street level. The address on the site is #8 which is misleading bc it is in fact #8a (obviously basement level) the street pictures you see are for #8 . It is very damp and the ventilation is weak resulting in the front door being swollen. so much so that you have to basically kick it really hard to open and pull it with a spoon in the latch as leverage to get out. There will be no quick exit on entrance from this door. Be aware to slam it shut and give it an extra pull in order to assure that it is in fact closed. The back garden is not grass as the pictures show it is turf and is need of a serious make over. Loose bricks, hanging extension cords and various empty pots and garbage litter the perimeter. Both outdoor lounge chairs and very wobbly would not recommend trying them out. All the carpets have been rolled up and pushed under things in the bedrooms and tv living area. The one “Comfy” cream couch is covered in an assortment of cream blankets (I counted 5) i realized why once I looked closely , its very stained and has seen better days. There is alot of things stored under the beds?? Both beds are only a mattress on slats (so no base). The bedding is old but appeared clean. The larger bathroom was pleasant but did have a broken wall mirror and a running toilet (was fixed after arrival) the second bathroom did not look at all like the web-pictures and we basically did not use it due the mold on the shower head and the odd drainage system? It is a tiny bathroom that has no shower divider, basically you would be wetting the entire room. The 3 bath towels provided where very old and scratchy, we ended up going and buying our own. We thought we had done our due-diligence on the location and the pictures looked great. It is hard to get over the Basement level it is definately not ground level. We did talk to the property manager but obviously it was mute bc we bc where stuck with it.
