Overall we had a good stay at Dormio Resort Flaine. There was a mix up at check in and we were initially placed in the wrong apartment which had not been cleaned or the beds made up. This was swiftly rectified and we were moved to the correct apartment. The heater in our bathroom was not working and was only replaced on the day before we left. The temperatures in Flaine this week were around -12 so it was chilly to take a shower. The apartment is maybe now getting a little tired and would benefit from a refit but was reasonably comfortable and adequately equipped for a group of 6. The apartments are ski out by using a narrow track when snow conditions allow, which they didn't for us until the last 2 days after it snowed. No way to ski in so need to use the ski bus to get back, which was fine, every 10-15 mins and takes 10 mins from Flaine centre. Pool and sauna area is great and included in the price. Supermarket is about 10-15 mins walk away down hill so hard work getting back with shopping. On site car park is excellent. Ski and boot store is good, but boot warmers were not working, resorted to keeping our boots in the apartment so we could get them on in the morning. All in all happy with our stay and would book Dormio resorts again.
