Perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful Garfagnana, & Lucca province, this delightful 4 bedroom house is set 1 hr north of Lucca.
This 4 bed stone cottage boasts 1 double bedroom and 3 twin rooms, one of which can be a double on request (please ask when booking), along with two shower rooms and a further WC. There is a 3rd shower room accessible from garden. There is a large comfy double aspect living room with open fire, and a traditional style kitchen diner.
Outside, is the ‘piece di resistance’ – firstly there is a covered living room leading from the internal lounge, complete with lighting & conservatory style furniture, then there is the extensive covered loggia with al fresco dining & relaxing facilities. The views from here over the private pool & the stunning countryside give a real sensation of peace

Also in the grounds is the private saline (not chlorine) pool of 12M x 6M with Roman Steps for sitting. This great pool also has its own hydro-massage area. There is plenty of space for playing, and a good sized BBQ too.

Lovely house and garden

We are a family of five, with three children between 9 and 11. We loved the pool, and the outside eating area, and the rustic barbeque. The house itself had masses of charm. There is a great living room/den where the kids could watch an occasional dvd. The kitchen could do with a bit of storage space, but was functional enough. My daughter enjoyed feeding the chickens and the tortoise. Great views. We didn't do much other than the odd trip to Castelnuevo, and a bit of cycling, but the property is great if you just want to relax by the pool. Riccardo, the owner, was very welcoming, and really helpful.

Ein liebevoll gestaltetes Haus mit herzlicher AtmosphÀre

Eine ĂŒberdurchschnittlich liebevoll gestaltete Unterkunft fĂŒr 8 Personen bestens geeignet. Die EigentĂŒmer leben in der NĂ€he und sind sehr freundlich, verbindlich und unkompliziert. Der große Pool hat uns die Sommerhitze, die auch schon durch die Lage des Hauses selbst gut zu ertragen ist, genießen lassen. Der Pizzaofen und eine Feuerstelle mit gigantischem Ausblick sind kaum zu toppen.

Wunderschönes Feriendomizil

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in diesem wundervollen Ferienhaus. Die EigentĂŒmer sind extrem hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das GrundstĂŒck samt Pool und Garten sind in vorbildlichem Zustand. Es gibt Alpakas, HĂŒhner, Meerschweinchen und Schildkröten vor Ort, was ein Highlight fĂŒr alle Kinder ist. Die Umgebung der Garfagnana ist sehr kurvig, aber wunderschön. Vom Ferienhaus ist man schnell in Lucca und Castelnuovo. Fazit: Wir kommen wieder!

Amazing villa - highly recommend!

We had such a lovely stay at villa Di Rustico Amola, it was even better than expected. Amazing host and good communication, the villa had a lot of nice little spots/place, a beautiful Veranda, large pool, barbecue, pizza oven and more. We will def recommends to everyone!

Ultrakoud zwembad, wel mooi uitzicht en rustig

Woning is mooi, prachtig uitzicht, maar heel erg afgelegen. Er is een kleine winkel in de buurt, maar de grote winkel is zeker 30min rijden, maar in de bergen is dit niet zo aangenaam. De grotten waren ook 1 uur rijden, Pisa anderhalf uur, telkens misselijke kinderen in de auto gehad. Zwembad is heel mooi, maar amper schaduw en het was ijskoud (24°C), echt niet leuk om er lang in te blijven spelen met de kinderen. Ook de ligstoelen waren aan vernieuwing toe (slechts 4 stuks voor een huisje van 8 personen). Geen wifi aan het zwembad, enkel in het huisje...) Verder heel veel wespen, vliegen en allerlei insecten (wegens de perzik- en perenbomen).

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist sauber, sehr weitlĂ€ufig, sehr gut ausgestattet und ideal fĂŒr bis zu acht GĂ€ste. Sehr ruhige Umgebung/Alleinlage. Vermieter jeder Zeit fĂŒr Fragen o.Ă€. zu erreichen. Tiere vor Ort (HĂŒhner, Schildkröten, Alpaka). Einziger Nachteil: Sitzgelegenheit auf Terrasse ohne RĂŒckenlehne.

Magnifica vacanza fra i monti della Garfagnana

Ottima villa immersa nel verde, perfetta per il nostro gruppo di 8 ragazzi. Abbiamo apprezzato l’interno della casa, dotata di tutti i comfort; ma abbiamo soprattutto sfruttato il fantastico giardino con piscina della proprietĂ . Impareggiabile il portico, sotto cui abbiamo passato gran parte del nostro tempo nelle ore piĂč calde della giornata. Gentilissima Clara, la proprietaria, che non ci ha mai fatto mancare nulla e ci regalava le uova fresche delle galline presenti nel giardino. Sulla proprietĂ  ci sono anche Sammy e Sansone, due simpatici alpaca che ci hanno fatto compagnia durante il nostro soggiorno.

Lovely property great views!

The location is amazing with fantastic views! This is a great family-friendly house with a stunning pool, great BBQ and traditional pizza oven. We were well looked after by the owners with fresh eggs and vegetables. The local villages have all the amenities required including some lovely restaurants. We'll visit again!

Very rustic but we love it.

This was our third visit. As always if a slight problem is encountered nothing is too much trouble for it to be rectified. Visited some of our favourite haunts but found it relaxing just staying at the property soaking up the sun and that lovely view. Garden so well stocked with herbs of which we took advantage. We were invited to help ourselves to any fruit or vegetables growing on the property too.

Great villa with an excellent pool and garden

We loved our stay at Rustico Lamola. The house was perfect for us, 4 adults and 4 kids. When we arrived we got some eggs from the hens living on the property! There were also two tortoises living in the backyard which the kids loved to feed with lettuce. The garden was in great condition with a lot of flowers, lemon trees, tomatoes, lettuce, zucchini, strawberries and fresh herbs. The kids loved the pool. It being a saltwater pool was actually a big plus. Much better than a chlorinated pool. We ate all our meals under the pergola in front of the house. It was really nice to be able to sit all together outside in the shade. We used the pizza oven outside two times during our stay and the pizzas came out really great. The closest grocery store was only 5 minutes with car and if you wanted a wider selection you could drive 25 minutes to the nearest super store. The house didn’t have air condition, but that didn’t matter since the temperature was about 22 degrees during the night (due to cold mountain air) even though it was above 30 during the day. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Very nice and private property - very kind owners

Ein perfekter Ort um einen Toskana-Urlaub zu beginnen. Das Anwesen: Sehr gemĂŒtlich, gut und großzĂŒgig eingerichtet. Die KĂŒche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Man merkt, dass die Besitzer zeitweise das Haus selber nutzen und auf FunktionalitĂ€t Wert legen. Das GrundstĂŒck: Sehr gepflegt mit kleinem KrĂ€utergarten in dem man Sachen der italienischen KĂŒche findet. Der Pool ist natĂŒrlich das absolute Highlight. So großzĂŒgig das man auch in die Verlegenheit kommt Bahnen zu schwimmen. Wir haben ihn trotz der niedrigen Temperaturen und des hĂ€ufigen Regen jeden Tag genossen. Zudem gibt es neben einer Außendusche (einer kleinen Grotte nachempfunden) noch ein separates Bad zur Poolseite, das ĂŒber eine Dusche und eine Toilette verfĂŒgt. Das GrundstĂŒck ist von außen nicht einsehbar und man hat seine absolute PrivatsphĂ€re. Die vorbeifĂŒhrende Straße ist sehr wenig befahren. Die Besitzer: Leider sind unsere Italienischkenntnisse sehr beschrĂ€nkt, so dass wir uns grĂ¶ĂŸten Teils mit HĂ€nden und Gesten verstĂ€ndigen mussten. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und wurden ins Haus eingewiesen. Am zweiten Tag bekamen einen Riesenkorb mit Tomaten und Gurken aus eigenem Anbau geschenkt. Zudem versorgte uns der Besitzer auch immer wieder mit frischen Eiern, die er alle 1-2 Tage aus dem an das GrundstĂŒck angeschlossenen kleinen HĂŒhnerstall holte. Fazit: Perfekt fĂŒr Erholungssuchende. Wir haben die Zeit unglaublich genossen und wĂŒrden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Super toller Urlaub in einem traumhaften Ferienanwesen.

Wir haben hier einen sehr schönen Urlaub verbracht. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 5 Kinder und waren 14 Tage hier. Es wurde nie langweilig. Der große Pool sorgte fĂŒr eine Menge Spass und AbkĂŒhlung bei jung und alt. Das Haus hatte alles und es war genĂŒgend Platz fĂŒr alle da. Wir haben jede Mahlzeit auf der großen ĂŒberdachten Terasse eingenommen. Besonders toll ist die Lage des Hauses. ein freier Blick nach allen Seiten auf die TĂ€ler und Berge der Umgebung. Es gibt keine Nachbarn, so konnten wir wir jeden Tag (auch mit teils lauterer) Musik gernießen und die Kinder konnten Kinder sein. Die Umgebung bietet genĂŒgend Möglichkeiten fĂŒr AusflĂŒge. Bersonders bedanken wir uns bei den Vermietern, die uns mit frischen Eiern, Obst (leckere Feigen, hmm) und Salat ĂŒberrascht haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Danke auch an die Agentur, der Service war top.

Clean well maintained house with nice extras

Clean, well maintained house and facilities. We loved the fresh herbs that was free for use, the real pizza oven, the fresh eggs from the hens in the pen next to the lawn. The saltwater pool was perfect to spend much time in due to the low chlorine content. Very helpful owner. Several nice small villages in the vicinity and pretty close to Luca. If you like to skip driving theres a train station nearby that takes you to Luca and further. We would definitely recommend this house to our friends.

What a wonderfull place!!

If you like to look at the Mountains and listening to the quietness while the kids are playing in and around the swimming pool, then this is a great place to do it. Lots of kids Space, lots of possibilities for relaxing, reading, cooking. Do go Down the hill to the river. It's yet another play area for grownups and children. The walk to the Castle is a great hike even for children. we were two families 4 grownups and 4 kids at the age of 8-10. Everybody enjoyed every minute. One thing to keep in mind is that you need a car and the roads to and from is very bumpy, steep and narrow which is why trips to the cities like Lucca, La Spezia etc. takes time

Great relaxing holiday!

Two families with young children stayed for 1 week. We had a great time. Lovely views, great pool, very chilled! Great adventure playground for kids and adults alike less than 1 mile away. Owner of the villa a really nice chap. Owner
