We enjoyed a week in this Tuscan paradise. A truly lovely house, beautiful garden and pool. The host was a true gentleman and was always there for us. The pizza tasting was amazing and a real surprise for us.

Fantastic stay beyond excellent!

The house was beyond our wildest expectations situated on a hillside with magnificent view over the valley down to Castiglione medevial village. The house was well equipped, clean and with an outside patio with a dining table where we spent all our evenings. The pool with chairs for everybody was about thirty steps above the house with sun all day long. Perfect temperatured after a day in Pisa. Superb!!!And finally our host! We have never been so well treated with hospitality and generosity before. Leonardo and Barbara spoilt us with friendliness and natural excellence. Absolute 10 out of 10!We recommend everybody to book Villa Casale Le Selve! The best vacation house ever!Johan with families.

Perfect North Tuscan retreat

My friends and I had an excellent time at Le Selve. Nestled high in the hills of Garfagnana, this newly renovated rustic property comes equipped with pretty much every modern amenity, which is not always a given in Tuscan holiday homes. The pool area offers spellbinding views of the surrounding landscape – the photos cannot really do it justice – and comfortably accommodates larger groups. Despite its conspicuous seclusion, Le Selve is surprisingly close to all essential facilities, with the nearest, picturesque town of Castiglione being easily reachable even on foot. Last but not least, the host, Leonardo, is simply unimpeachable. Kind, attentive, and always ready to help, he was the all-important final ingredient in what was a truly memorable holiday.

Me and my family spent a week at this beautiful home in the North Tuscan mountains. The house is gorgeous and the setting is a real dream. You wake up each day to new cloud formations rising out of the valley, and the most spectacular view. The house itself is well equipped and its really nice to stay in a typical Tuscan house. The pool is lovely and very well maintained, cleaned every day and a nice place to relax. Leonardo and his family went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice stay. We started our trip with an amazing fruit bowl and some prosecco and a freshly baked cake, and he made sure we knew where to visit in the area, with some great recommendations. You can walk from the house into the town, it takes around 15 mins down a forest track which is really nice. I imagine its very lovely in the summer, with long evenings and cooling off in the pool, and also in the winter with chestnut season in the area and the cosy fire in the house. Thank you for everything and we cant wait to come back a˜ºi¸

Unser Urlaub,in diesem wunderbarem Haus war auAŸergewA¶hnlich! Der Gastgeber Leonardo und seine Frau erwarteten uns bei der Ankunft freundlicherweise mit einem selbstgemachten Kuchen. Die hervorragende Beratung des Gastgebers bezA¼glich der lokalen SpezialitA¤ten und SehenswA¼rdigkeiten beeindruckten uns sehr. Durch ihe unaufdringliche Gastfreundschaft schlossen wir sie sehr schnell ins Herz. Das Haus, sowie das Schwimmbad und der Whirlpool waren in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Pools wurden tA¤glich vom Besitzer gereinigt. Durch die ruhige Lage des Hauses konnten wir richtig entspannen. Die Wegbeschreibung zum Haus was super. Im groAŸen und ganzen wA¼rde ich dieses Haus jedem weiterempfehlen, da es an einem sehr idyllischen Fleck steht und doch nicht weit weg vom nA¤chten Dorf/Stadt liegt und die Gastgeber fantastisch waren. Wir fA¼hlten uns wie Zuhause oŸ˜S

Das Haus ist in einem perfekten Zustand und war super sauber. Der Pool hat eine super Aussicht auf die Berge. ( Pool und Whirlpool auch super gepflegt.) Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Barbara und Leonardo begrsst und mit einem selbstgebackenen Kuchen (sehr lecker!!) und einem Obstkorb sowie einer Flasche Wein berrascht. Das Haus liegt in der Nhe von Castiglione di Garafagna , es ist ruhig und privat. Wir knnen dieses Haus nur empfehlen. 5 Sterne!

It is a great house with beautiful views everywhere, the pool is fantastic. But what surprised us most positively was the warm welcome of Leonardo; as a result, we but also our children immediately felt at ease and at home. The host is willing to arrange everything for you and the contact is easy via whats app. With that a lot of privacy and tranquility and yet service really fantastic.

Ruhig und erholsam. Herrlicher Ausblick

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe sehr genossen. Aufgrund der Höhenlage ist es etwas kühler, was wir im Sommer (Pisa mit 35 Grad) als sehr angenehm empfanden. Der Pool ist gut, um sich zu erfrischen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und haben sofort den Whirlpool reparieren lassen, als er kaputt war. Highlight war die Pizza, sie für uns im Steinofen gebacken haben. Der Anfahrtsweg zum Ferienhaus ist steil und eher ein Schotterweg. Die herrliche Aussicht vom Garten und Poolbereich macht das dann wieder wett.

We (family with two kids of 16 and 12) have extraordinarily enjoyed the stay at Casale Le Selve during the past 14 days. It is a peaceful paradise, where we could really take a time off from stressful jobs. The house disposed of everything we needed, while we passed most of the day outside at the pool area. The views are stunning and the colors of the nature are exactly what you would imagine when thinking of Tuscany. We would love to come back!

What a wonderful villa in Garfagnana, the hidden pearl of the Tuscany region! We were welcomed by Leonardo, the ever-friendly and helpful owner. One evening he even surprised us with a homemade pizza meal straight from his wood oven.* *The house is in perfect condition and was super clean. Our family has been due to a well deserved vacation after years of scraping and saving. We were able to keep our promise to our kids and we do not regret a moment we spent on holiday in said villa, our expectations were met with pure excellence and proffesionality. The cleanliness, cozynees and traditional setting of the villa will be set in our minds eye for a long time to come. Our kids enjoyed the scenery, activities undertaken and the pool (pure heaven) of course.Well be sure to recommend this to oour friends and family.

The staff responsible for cleaning and services in other matters have shown their best side. All this meant a carefree holiday period for us. The other outdoor attractions are well worth the effort.
