Villa Can Payeras by JS Villas
Casa Payeras is a traditional Mallorcan villa that has recently been fully modified, whilst still retaining its charm and character. Situated 2 mins stroll from the beautiful sandy beach, it is in a quiet, leafy residential area of Port de Pollenca. A local supermarket is 5 mins walk away as well as cafes, restaurants and shops.
The villa is perfect for friends and families of all ages and ideal for three-generational holidays. It has superb communal spaces, all opening onto the pool area. It is predominantly laid out on one floor and is a flat walk to the beach and town. You can be out of bed and swimming in Pollenca Bay within 5 minutes!
The entrance hall of the villa is imposing and has four bedrooms leading off it. Three of these have been converted with stairs and a mezzanine floor inside. Each has a king size bed upstairs and a single chair bed, if required, downstairs, as well as an ensuite shower room.
The fourth bedroom leading from the hallway is a twin room with ensuite shower room. This room is all on the ground floor so it is ideal for older or younger guests. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request.
The fifth bedroom is upstairs and has a king size bed and large ensuite shower room. There is an additional shower room downstairs, so there should never be queues for bathrooms! All bedding and bath towels are from the White Company to ensure a luxury feel throughout.
There is a living room with sofas and chairs and a well-lit modern kitchen with induction hob, microwave, oven and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine and iron for guests' use.
Through the kitchen is a room with another smart TV and DVD player and sofa bed settee. This is ideal as a chill out room. There is also a large dining table for use in the cooler months.
All these rooms open onto the outside pool and patio areas, where there is another large dining table and chairs, sheltered by a sun shade. There are also sun loungers for relaxing. The pool is wonderful for cooling off on hot, summer days and has a small shallow space which is perfect for toddlers and roman steps leading into the main area. Pool towels are provided for your stay.
The area where our villa is situated is a haven both for those who want simply to relax and unwind and those who are looking for more activities.
There is a sailing and windsurf school based on the beach at the end of our road. Pollenca Bay is sheltered by mountains so is a perfect place to learn or improve your skills.
Or maybe you enjoy cycling? This is the winter base for many cycling teams and the town has plenty of excellent bike hire shops. The routes are plenty and varied, from the relaxing coastal road around the bay to Alcudia Old Town, to the professional Sa Calobra mountain descent and climb.
If it's walking and nature that you enjoy, the north of Mallorca is wonderful. Port de Pollenca is situated at the northern end of the UNESCO World Heritage Tramuntana mountain range. The fashionable resort of Cala Saint Vicenc is a couple of hours easy ramble through a mountain coll and beautiful Cala Boquer, which can only be reached on foot or by boat, is a couple of hours' walk along the valley. There is also a nature reserve less than 5 mins walk from our villa. A larger supermarket is a 15 mins walk away through this reserve.
Or perhaps you just want to get away from it all and do nothing more than read a good book lazing by the pool? Or watch the world go by with a coffee at Tolo's restaurant on the seafront, or sip a cocktail at one of the beach bars?
Either way, all of these can easily be achieved whilst staying at Casa Payeras!
Whilst our villa lends itself to self-catering, there are more cafes and restaurants in the town and all within walking distance than can be detailed here. It is lovely on a warm evening to stroll along the seafront up the Pine Walk, past bars and restaurants full of people relaxing, and chose somewhere to eat or have a drink.
No holiday to Port de Pollenca would be complete without a boat trip. There are charter trips available with a skipper, or you can hire a boat either with or without a licence. There are beautiful coves to anchor and swim in where the water is clear and warm and the fish are stunning.

Port de Pollenca has a vibrant market every Wednesday morning in the square in the centre of town. This is well worth a visit, as is Pollenca Old Town, which has a market on Sundays.

Stair glass panels will be installed in November 2020 until then if you are traveling with children please realize this might be dangerous if not supervised.
Breakage deposit is required.
