Roberto was a fantastic host! He came and met us to make sure we arrived and gave the best recommendations. We were lucky to have stayed here and hope to be back!
This little apartment was awesome. I traveled here with my wife and it was the perfect size for a couple. It is probably a bit too small for any group larger than a couple. The location is fantastic! It is right in the heart of a bustling nightlife district, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and entertainment. Despite this, it is tucked away on a less busy side street, so you get the convenience of being close to everything without hearing loud music or crowds at night while trying to sleep.Overall it is a place we would love to stay again at.
Bed is suspended from the ceiling!
The Positives:
The place was clean.
The host was nice and very responsive.
The Neutrals
The place is centrally located near the Fiori Di Campo and is accessible by bus, but is not easily accessible by the metro.
The Negatives:
There is no bedroom, only a loft. And not much of a loft. The bed is suspended from the ceiling with iron supports, and is only accessible via five 12+ inch steps (tile blocks) with NO railing! This would violate multiple building codes in the US. There is only one teeny tiny landing at the top, just big enough for one person to stand on. From there, you have to climb into the bed. If two people get in, one person has to curl up into a ball to let the other out. If you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you are wide awake by the time you have to climb back up the tile blocks! Unless you are into 3 A.M. calisthenics, pick another property.
Shower is tiny, no shelf for soap. Water pressure was extremely poor.
Stove is difficult to light. Could not light it during our stay.
My husband has BPV (Benign Positional Vertigo) so it was extremely unsafe for him to get out of bed on the tiny landing and then go down those stairs/blocks with no railing. We checked out of our 5 night stay after 2 nights.
