Excellent location & accommodations

Beautiful apartment with everything needed for comfort. Surprisingly quiet for being in the city. Walking distance to so many attractions. Roberto was extremely helpful in getting us acquainted with the apartment & our surroundings, even made excellent restaurant suggestions. Highly recommend!!!!

Tolle Unterkunft an super Lage

Sehr angenehm. Die Kommunikation mit Roberto hat sehr gut geklappt. Er hat uns in der komfortablen, gut eingerichteten Wohnung empfangen, alles gezeigt und Tipps gegeben. Es ist sehr ruhig dort, aber trotzdem alles zu Fuss erreichbar. Am Abreisetag konnten wir die Koffern noch dort lassen und Roberto hat uns persönlich verabschiedet und ein Taxi gerufen. Vielen Dank!

Very nice apartment for an authentic Roman experience

The furniture was sparse but adequate, the bed comfortable. Could have used more bath towels and dish towels to dry dishes. The tv was just a computer monitor, but who goes to Rome to watch tv? The elevator was a trip! Tiny and antique. It was a fun place to stay, great location. I would stay there again. The host, Roberto, was wonderful.

Roberto was great communicating, nice location

Roberto was very helpful with our check in. We arrived later in evening. He helped arrange a taxi ahead of time for us. Checked in several times through out the week to make sure we had everything we needed. Apartment was clean, well maintained, and in a great location. I appreciated being able to cross the river and get away from the crowds at the end of the day.

Great stay in Rome

Residenza Mellini was the perfect home base during our 5 day visit to Rome. The apartment was comfortable, clean and well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was wonderful. We were welcomed by our host Roberto, who gave us great tips on nearby restaurants, where to get the best pizza, and how to find our way around this beautiful city. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Rome..

Schöne Wohnung im Prati Viertel

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Robertos Wohnung sehr genossen. Die Wohnung liegt im Prati Viertel und ist sehr ruhig, da die Fenster in den Innenhof öffnen. Es gibt einige Möglichkeiten zum Essen gehen und einkaufen der nächsten Umgebung. Roberto ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber.

Mellini 34 is highly recommended for Rome. It's in a perfect location on the west side of the river close to the Vatican and 10 minutes from the Spanish steps, much quieter and less touristic than being on the east side. There are local restaurants patronized by the locals which offer good food at better prices such as Berinetta and Dispensa. The Essalungo supermarket is high-end and close by with a small market right next door. Roberto is a great host and his apartment is clean and modern in a classic building. Only criticism would be that the television could be larger. All together a good experience.

Perfect Place to stay while visiting Rome

This place was a fraction of the price of hotels in the area and SO MUCH NICER. It was perfect. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. AND Roberto was such a great host.

Excellent location, great host, adequate accommodation

Property location is excellent. Most points of interest are within walking (up to 30 minutes) distance. There is adequate space for sleeping, cooking, and other essential activities. The host Roberto is very friendly and accommodating. He helped us find transportation, provided recommendations, etc.

Great place to stay in Prati

Place has undergone upgrades, has a modern feel to it, and it's situated in the fantastic Prati neighborhood, very close to the Vatican and great for shopping and Roman dining. Roberto was great in communicating with us throughout the process and we also met him in person and he is very pleasant, responsive and professional. We highly recommend this spot for anyone staying in Rome.

Perfect location and genial host

Roberto, our host, was kind and accommodating. He and his charming canine companion checked in several times to make sure we had everything that we needed. The apartment was clean and bright with a well equipped kitchen. Unlike many centrally located flats, it was also pin-drop quiet. A perfect 10/10!

Lovely accommodations

Our host made sure check in and accommodations were to our needs. I chose the location because of its proximity to the Vatican as we had early morning tour and breakfast tickets. The Vatican was walking distance. We also utilized the restaurant that was very close by. Our stay was very comfortable and we sooo appreciated the air conditioning. I would stay here again

Rome Stay

Great place overall. Very clean and was larger than expected. Easily accommodated 3 people. Location was within walking distance to many of the main attractions and was accessible with public transit. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. Bonus has an elevator to access unit which was a welcomed surprise. Would highly recommend staying here.

A must stay in Rome

Roberto our host was fantastic. Communication was very clear and helpful. Always there to ask question and provide tips. The location of the apartment was wonderful. Beautiful Apartment, Close To Everything!

This was my wife's and my first trip to Europe from the States; we're geriatrics, in our mid-70s. While we loved Rome's hustle and bustle, this apartment provided us with a peaceful and quiet escape at the end of our very busy days. It's right across the street from the historic Tiber River, which served as a constant landmark during our travels. Roberto, our host, was a true gentleman and very personable. The apartment has been in his family for generations. It has all the modern amenities. It is very safe and secure. Here's what my wife and I loved about the apartment and its location: a) While being within walking distance of many tourist attractions, it's in a residential area, among local, every-day Romans; away from all those crazy tourists (such as myself and my wife). LOL b) There are numerous places to eat, in various price-points, along with yummy Gelaterias, close by. c) The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware and dishware in the event you want to do some cooking or keep some snacks on hand. There are food / liquor stores nearby. d) Rome has a great bus and rail system, along with inexpensive taxis. Embrace them and don't be intimidated. Single and multiple day travel passes are available at very reasonable prices. Rome has so much to offer and see; we couldn't do it all in one visit. God willing, we'll be back in the future, and, hopefully, both Roberto and his lovely apartment, will still be on VRBO.

Prati Area Rome

The apartment was well appointed, clean and comfy. The location was perfect .... within walking distance to many of the main attractions and in a great neighborhood for bars and restaurants. The host, Roberto, was very attentive and available for any of our needs. I highly recommend this property and will certainly plan to stay there again.
