We so appreciated this adorable home so beautifully decorated and close to everything. Very comfortable beds! Good space. Outdoor areas were so nice. We loved being able to have our dogs here too. Had a couple questions during the stay that were quickly answered.
Great location. Very clean, well supplied and great location in historic district. This is an older so main room gets very cool, but bedrooms don't have cooling vents so recommend that bedroom doors are left partially open for better air circulation. Several outdoor patios and small yard area for relaxing and entertaining.
Ellie's is a lovely property, with a spacious, well-equipped kitchen. The cookware and tableware is in great condition. We enjoyed dining in, as well as breakfast and evening cocktails in the garden. The bedding was very comfortable, and we slept very well in the quiet neighborhood. The house is very user-friendly, with helpful labels and instructions where needed. We would definitely like to stay again, upon our next trip to Santa Fe.
Ellie's was everything we expected and more. Spacious, clean and within walking distance from Plaza . The great decorations make you feel right at home. Cozy beds and furniture. Easy communication as well. Would recommend and stay here again!
Experience was great from start to finish. The house was beautiful and felt very comfortable. Outdoor areas were lovely with great views. Some days we never even got in the car as many destinations are a short walk. Owners are very helpful and provided fast communication. Would definitely recommend staying at Ellieâs!
This charming home is in an attractive residential area within walking distance of Santa Fe's downtown tourist sites. We liked the decor, the well stocked kitchen, and the varied outdoor sitting areas. The host had lots of good recommendations, and she was quite accessible. In addition, if you are lacking in ideas of what to do in the area, there are plenty of resources in the common areas of the house to help you plan your sightseeing. The house is comfortable, and you can park on the street as well as in the garage area. Our party consisted of two couples. We had plenty of room, and I would not hesitate to book this house for a future visit. We had a wonderful time. lots of
First time in Santa Fe, we wanted to be in an authentic neighborhood, in an authentic Santa Fe home, that was walkable to all the things to do and close to the plaza. This home was great, lots of space had everything we needed with so many different areas to enjoy within the property inside and out. Also, the pictures donât do it justice. Host was friendly and responsive when we had a question on the first night, would definitely recommend. Read the property guide when you first arrive so that you understand the property. We are from Georgia and always expect blasting A/C, so we just had to learn about how the house works and how Santa Fe does it. Again, highly recommend! Would stay again!
So much nicer in person! Very conveniently located. Spacious, clean and fully stocked with kitchen utensils. And the bottle of wine greeting us was a nice touch!
Roomy home and so glad for the garage as it snowed ALOT!! Had some issues that were immediately fixed by Reina to our satisfactionâŠ..loved that 2 bedrooms were on one side of the house and the master on the otherâŠ.
We loved our stay at Ellieâs Buena Vista! Everything we needed and then some! Beautiful home and plenty of space for all of us. So well stocked and decor was beautiful. Have rented through VRBO many times - this truly is one of the best. Thank you so much!
A well maintained and personable home that enhanced our stay in Santa Fe. The location is convenient to everything but is in a quiet and peaceful neeighborhood. The home is well stocked and charmingly decorated in Santa Fe style. We especially enjoyed the three outdoor spaces for relaxing at the end of the day or a cup of coffee in the morning. An A+ property.
We booked this stay for the Indian Market and it was the absolutely perfect property for that! Walking distance to the Plaza and completely quiet, the perfect sanctuary after a busy day at market. This house works perfectly for a group of friends and we felt like it was our home away from home. The host was great at communicating and we had a wonderful stay.
Ellie's is a fantastic home with tons of New Mexico charm. I stayed with my wife and three kids 12-16. We loved it. The roll-out bed meant that there are four total beds and every kid got their own bed. The decor and locally themed books are lovely and made us feel very welcome and immersed in Santa Fe. The neighborhood was pretty quiet, and the garage parking was appreciated. Best of all, the house is walkable to the old town plaza area (about a 15 minute walk) as well as several other fun spots (Revolution Bakery, Kakawa chocoaltes). Check-in and check-out were both quite easy with good information and no hard or unusual check-out requirements. We had a great time and would happily stay again.
Everything was perfect! The house was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect location. The kitchen was awesome and had everything you could ever need. We had the best time and want to return asap!
The hosts are wonderful and the home was perfectly located. The kitchen is well stocked. Host left us cream in the refrigerator, coffee, and a bottle of wine. The beds were very comfortable. We all oved the multiple patios.
Great Stay
Natives of Santa Fe, Reina Roybal Romero and Michael Roybal are siblings who grew up in the family home, 210 E. Buena Vista. Both attended Wood Gormley and Harrington Jr. High, neighborhood schools. Michael lives in Santa Fe and Reina lives part-time in Santa Fe and in Albuquerque with husband, James. Ellie is the matriarch of the family and the house is named in her honor.
According to City of Santa Fe documents, the Buena Vista Addition was part of the Mahaffey Tract developed in 1911 in the Territory of New Mexico. This house was at one time Reese Cradle Home a birthing center which accommodated the many baby boomers born in Santa Fe in the late 1940's and early 1950's. Ellie's Buena Vista is a beautiful and historic family home.
We are thrilled to welcome guests to 210 and hope you enjoy it as much as we do! A very special attraction is the beautiful mountain views from the living room windows and front patio.
