North Whidbey View Home - Vie spacieuse

Profitez d'une vue imprenable sur l'eau et la montagne depuis cette spacieuse maison en duplex. Cette 1600 s. f., appartement d'une chambre est entièrement meublé avec une cuisine / salle à manger, salon, salle à manger et bureau et bureau.

La maison est située sur une colline qui roule doucement jusqu'à l'eau. Mon rez-de-jardin, unité inférieure est autonome et s'ouvre sur un patio couvert et sur la pelouse paysagère luxuriante donnant sur la baie de Dugualla. C'est un sentiment magique de s'asseoir à l'arrière, ombragé par des arbres d'ornement, des myrtilles et des fuchsias en fleurs, pour regarder les marées en constante évolution, les montagnes enneigées et le soleil ou la lune traverser l'horizon.

La maison est idéalement située dans un quartier calme à quatre pâtés de maisons de la plage et à quelques minutes du centre-ville d'Oak Harbor. Il se trouve à courte distance en voiture de restaurants, magasins et autres commodités, tout en éloignant les mondes. Il est bien aménagé et constitue une rampe de lancement pratique pour explorer l'île de Whidbey, le col de la Déception, Anacortes et les îles de San Juan.

Il y a un lit queen-size en mousse à mémoire dans la chambre. Dans l'étude, il y a un canapé en cuir qui se replie en lit de taille normale pour dormir deux autres. Il y a une connexion Wi-Fi, une télévision de 40 "pour la diffusion de films en continu, un lecteur DVD Blue-ray, une baignoire à jets, des fours à micro-ondes et grille-pain, une laveuse / sécheuse et un grand bureau pour écrire votre prochain roman. La cuisine est équipée d'ustensiles de cuisine, et les draps et les serviettes sont fournis.

Can't Beat the View

Fantastic view to watch the tide go in and out revealing sandbars from the river. Fun to have planes coming into the air base fly right over (during the day only). Otherwise, very quiet at night. Property was very clean and comfortable.

This home was very clean, quiet, and it had a gorgeous view of the water. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of the kitchen stove. There were only 2 burners and ann electric grill, and those did not work very well. Other than that. The home wa lovely.

Larger than it looks!

I rented this VRBO for two family members and a dog for two nights. The location was very convenient for a get together for nearby relatives. The VRBO is located below the owner's house and is much more spacious than we expected. The kitchen is very nice and well-stocked. The bedroom is large with a comfortable bed. A daybed is located in the living room. The view is wonderful and there is a nearby beach. It is a short drive to Oak Harbor for shopping and restaurants. The only comment is that the day bed may not work for taller people. Other than that one comment, the stay was very enjoyable.

August Birthdays and Oak Harbor

Wonderful location - the sunrises were stupendous.....and every day had the deer coming through to take a meal or two off the apple and pear trees - we even had an albino little boy deer in the group. We had coffee every morning on the patio and there was a great setup to WFH for those of you who may need to work like I did. The kitchen is supplied with nice pots/pans/utensils - I've learned to bring my own stuff from home, but here I would not have needed to. There is no oven, but the toaster oven worked just fine. The house was extremely clean - the cleanest VRBO we've ever rented. My only 'complaint' - and really, not that big a deal because we were alone at the property for the majority of the time - but when the owner or her family members were in residence, you can definitely hear them upstairs.

The views can not be beat. My best friend and I had an amazing, relaxing stay. The house is between Deception Pass and Oak Harbor. Easy access to all areas of the island. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Vacation Home

Very clean, well-appointed unit! Everything was very modern and high quality. We prefer to cook rather than eat out and the kitchen was easy to work in. The stove had a Jen-air-like vent that vented to the outside and kept the kitchen clean-smelling. There is a Keurig and a Mister Coffee, so we had a choice. Being a Starbuck's fan, my husband used the Mister Coffiee every morning. The smell of the coffee cabinet smelled like my grandmother's coffee cabinet...boy, that that bring back happy memories! The bed was cushy but firm, which is crucial for me and my husband. The tub has jacuzzi jets and was a treat to use after a long travel day. We are used to providing our own sundries including laundry detergent, plastic wrap, etc., but the unit had everything! The view is amazing from the house! Julie is very easy to work with. This is truly a vacation home!

Breathtaking View!

We LOVED our stay at Julie's place. The view is amazing, as are the daily visits from birds, deer, rabbits, and other friendly visitors. The space itself is well equipped and very cozy. Great kitchen with everything we needed for cooking at "home" and then some. Thank you for your hospitality!

We are so happy with the location of this rental, The views in this area were fantastic. Julie our host was always available, our pets were happy. The house itself was spacious and very clean. Cannot day enough about how fortunate we were to stay in this vacation rental.

Comfy place in a quaint and quiet neighborhood

My stay here was absolutely great! The back patio, yard and view were probably my favorite things about this place. Very spacious and clean. You can tell Julie puts time into decorating and thinking of what her guests will need to make their stay more enjoyable. I wish I could have spent more time here!!

Excellent accommodations!

My husband and I and our dog thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay here. Nice details throughout, beautifully decorated. And the view! We spent many an hour sipping coffee and sitting outside just enjoying the peace and quiet and the expansive view of the bay.

Perfect place when visiting Ft Casey and Coupeville

This place is spacious and very clean. It is a walking distance to the beach and a nearby town where there's plenty of places to eat. I also like that the neighborhood is quiet. We'll definitely consider staying here again, next time we are in town.

Glorious views

This property is so charming. The house had everything we needed and accommodated our family of 5 very comfortably for 2.5 days. Quiet neighborhood with such beautiful views, we loved it! Julie was very sweet to us and invited us to have as much fruit as we wanted from her fruit trees. What a fun experience! We would love to stay here again when we visit Whidbey Island.

Nice neighborhood with beautiful views.

My mom and I decided to take a long weekend and had never been to Oak Harbor besides passing through. My son joined us at the last minute but there was plenty of room. He stayed in the entryway room on the futon. He liked that it could be closed off and we did too because he is a night owl and we are not. Plenty of things to do in the area. I messaged Julie before we arrived asking about beaches and things to do. We only had plans to go to Deception Pass Park. She was quick in response and we visited the shops on Pioneer Street and Fort Ebey as she suggested. Dugualla Bay is just down the road. It's very muddy but we still visited several times to bird watch, watch the sunset and pick Himalayan berries. The only thing I would warn others about is the jets flying over are loud. This was not a problem for us. We are from an aviation family and loved taking videos of the flybys. They don't fly over on the weekends just during the week. Overall, we would stay again.

Relaxing Vistas

Spent maybe too much time just relaxing on the patio. Grab some coffee to watch the boats in the distance as the sun comes up or a glass of wine to see the colors change on Mt. Baker as the sun sets.

Home away from home

Every part of this experience was perfect. The home was lovely, clean and even better than the pictures. The views were spectacular, the neighborhood so quiet and peaceful. Julie was extremely gracious throughout entire process. The home was relaxing and just the right size for us. We would stay here again in a heart beat. The Location is right in the middle of so many things to see and do in WA state. Thank you Julie for everything as you well know how much we needed this restful time away .

Great Stay

Spacious, clean & well equipped. Lots of windows to enjoy the great view. It was fun watching the planes headed to the Air Force base but they were a little loud.

I bought this house as my vacation home for its breathtaking views and proximity to Seattle. I visit as often as I can. There are two units in this house. I occupy the upper unit, and make the lower unit available on VRBO.

Only a 90-minute drive from Seattle. the house is quiet, private and spacious, yet close to both natural beauty and the amenities of Oak Harbor. Escape for the weekend, or stay longer to relax, unwind and refresh.
